I don't think so, we might get a good Iris/Caitlin scene actually. Candice said they had something (spoilery) in common. And Caitlin listens to Iris because they shared the same tragedy.

I'm going with the "Ronnie sucked into the wormhole theory" mentioned above. It spits Ronnie out, since we know he shows up later... but maybe it's going to spit Eddie out too (since he got sucked in at the end of S1). And he becomes Evil!Eddie/Zoom

Basically, both their SO's died saving the city (so they think), and that's what they have in common.

It could be, it certainly makes sense for Iris to be the one who ends up convincing her. I even thought about it but I'm trying to anticipate as many SB "moments" as possible in order to be pleasantly surprised if we get a Caitlin/Iris scene instead

Did you guys see this trailer? Iris in that white dress is the hottest she's looked yet. Love how she was all over this sneak with new and old clips. The Flash of 2 Worlds bit cracked me up. (Jay is so hot!) Caitlin putting Jay's helmet on him was pretty funny too.

It's looking like B/Patty is gonna be a 1A thing. I expect 2.06-9 won't be happy for them.

so, Gabrielle Stanton is definitely telling people there that B/P will be temporary, so i guess they want people to know she's not a fixture on the show. to me that probably means they'll be done by mid-season, maybe 2x15 or 2x16 at most?

because it does look like they'll be starting them earlier than i thought.

done by 2x08 is probably wishful thinking, but fingers crossed.

to me it's more likely to be midseason thing, or she wouldn't even be recurring- she'd just be a quick guest star like Linda last season, or McKenna on Arrow. if it's true she'll be in 10 episodes, then we know she's already been in 5, right? (2,3,5,6,7). probably at least one more before 2x09, so that's 6.

that leaves her with 4 eps left, just enough time to get them through a break-up arc by around 1x15.
