I highly doubt that they would kill her off. Even though the show is technically about the whole family, it centered more around Kitty the first season, so I feel like they regard her as one of the most important characters that the show wouldn't "survive" without.

I agree. One thing is if Tommy leaves, another if it's Kitty.
