Episode 4: Katie

Katie (Megan Prescott) has barely seen Emily (Kathryn Prescott) since she walked out on the family to live with Naomi (Lily Loveless). Katie's mother Jenna, (Ronni Ancona) is now the sole breadwinner with her new wedding planning business and Katie is trying to help her mum organize the ghastly over-the-top WAG wedding, but Katie's relationship problems are preoccupying her, and things go horribly wrong. Episode 5: Freddie

Freddie (Luke Pasqualino) is completely wrapped up in Effy (Kaya Scodelario), and with Anthea (Morwenna Banks) away, The Stone House has become their private world. But their hedonistic lifestyle is having an impact on Freddie's coursework and when he voices his concerns to Effy it ends in a fight. Episode 6: JJ

JJ has a part-time job with Thomas in a confectionery wholesalers where he has fallen in love with beautiful fellow cashier Lara. What's worse is that some of his friends don't think he's up to it, and to his horror, his mum and his doctor agree with them. Cook however comes to the rescue - full of advice on how to handle the opposite sex. JJ sets forth only to discover that there are many more hurdles than he could ever have imagined. Is he really up to the challenge?

It may be everyone but filming spoilers and schedules suggest Naomi is a bigger character than most of the others.

With only 8 episodes, this skipping characters out of episodes is disgusting. So only what Freddie and maybe JJ will have been in all 18 episodes of Gen 2, what the fck is with that.

Not suprised Naomi will heavliy feature in the finale, she hasn't got a charater centric ep this season, so that comes of no suprise to me. But when they say Naomi will feature heavily, you can bet your money so will Emily feature heavily. In last thread few people said the Freffy reationship has become boring, agreeing with you here. Last season, they were great to watch, think they were the major plotline in s3. This year they seem pretty dull, this year major plotline seems to be Naomily.

Ya they definatly should have tried to include all the charecters in every episode even if it is a small scene. Hopefully the ep count will go back up to 10 for S5 due to S4 getting some of the best ratings in Skins history or they cut back to like 6-7charecters for the newbies.

And Freddie/Effy havent even gotten that much focus thus far so of course they wouldnt be that exciting. But I enjoy them nonetheless

Yeah I do wonder what Katie's medical problem is. Everyone is speculating a pregnancy scare and IA that's most likely (just a scare, not an actual pregnancy, anyway). Her episode seems so busy though that I don't know when they'll bring it up! I doubt it'll be a big deal though.

Since Morwenna Banks is credited I suppose that means we'll see her, even if briefly! I'm glad, I love her - crazy as she is. I don't think we'll get another scene like it exactly but that moment in Effy's ep last series where she's washing her hair for her is just one of the saddest, sweetest moments of the show, so I would looove even a tiny little emotional scene with Effy and her mom.

I think we'll see Anthea right at the end of ep 5 when Effy is taken away to the clinic.

They could have found a way to slip in some college or group scenes in each episode. It is ridic leaving characters out especially Naomi and Panda who are already getting jipped anyway. They should for have been in every episode.

Freffy just got back together with no spark and are just cluttering up the screentime as a couple with no spark. I knew Luke/Kaya had no chemistry in S3 but I was hoping their cuteness and being a couple could overcome that but I feel literally nothing in their scenes and so ep 5 will be very tedious unless Katie, Karen, panda etc add some spark.

Though the Freffy thing atm is dull, looking froward to Effy and the story about her being shafted off to a clinic, i think that story will be intense to say the least. Maybe that's when the Freffy relationship will excite up a bit....!

It is bloody annoying that Naomi and Panda getting left out when they have no episode this season. Naomi more so cause this season is heavily about the whole thing with Emily. Not liking this.

Atleast Naomii is getting decent storytime with her and Emilys relationship and the sucicide storyline. She got decent airtime in Emilys episode and some nice scenes in Cooks episode and who knows what she will part of during Katies. But i agree with the group scenes and they probably should have had some charecters share an epsiode. Or atleast have Thomas share an episode since he isnt as big as any of the other charecters. I think the first episode should have been Naomi followed by what the order is now.

But I am a bit worried about Effy getting sent off to a clinic, just due to the amount of episodes and how it may not get properly played out in such a short amount of time.

Freddie is a useless character. JJ and Freddie don't deserve an episode over Naomi. It's as simple as that and it's proof that JB is not qualified to be in charge of the show. They're pushing for the characters who people don't really care about and the the lesser actors in the show. This is like if Maxxie and Anwar got an episode over Sid, Cassie or Chris. It's stupid. I know they wanted Freddie and JJ to be the fan favourites last series, but, they're not, stop pushing Skins!

The worst of it is that i'm 99% certain that their eps won't change my mind. Also, i'm fairly certain Freddie is going to help Anthea ship Effy off to the nut house. Which will only make me dislike him more. At least that would leave oppourtunity for Cook to help his girl out though.

I feel as offended for Panda as I do Naomi tbh. Obviously with Naomily being my OTP they are my priority but I love Panda as well so her being skipped in ep 4 and Naomi (and Naomily) being skipped in ep 5 is just wrong. I'm glad Karen is back as I love her but i'm still miffed about no Naomily in ep 5 when Freffy got stuff in Emily's episode.

Freffy crashing and burning as the only way to make them interesting to watch is a bit sick

I'm assuming Naomily are being left out of ep 5 because they are broken up then and because lets be honest love or hate them they do steal the limelight from other couples. So Freffy mustn't need the competition if we're meant to be all sympathetic to their plight in ep 5.

Following what your saying, but to go as far and say Freddie is useless...that's a bit much, no? Ok right now he is extremely dull, but dull doesn't mean useless.

Panda I feel the worst about since she has been so background so far this season and the only real screentime I can possibly see her getting is in Effys episode.

Naomi is getting a lot of screentime though? She's been in all of the eps so far, played a major part in ep 2 of course and a pretty good part in Cook's ep too. She's going to be in Katie's, and we know she'll be playing a huge role in the finale. It sucks that she doesn't get her own episode but the writers can't exactly magic up an episode for her when they only got an 8 episode order. I think they've done a good job so far of integrating Naomi storylines into other characters' episodes.

I'm personally looking forward to Freddie's ep, as chemistry is (obviously) subjective I think Luke and Kaya work very well together and more than the couple stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing Effy's ~dark inner world~ or whatever. When I think about that I get flashbacks to her video diary, with the story about the girl and her brother and lemonade or w/e, and if it's anything like that I'll be OVERJOYED.
