Honestly, I could do without being responsible for taking out the garbage. After being the only one to do it for however many years... It beats keeping it inside, obviously. But I don't even feel relief/accomplishment when it's out. __________________

Ah, I understand that.
It's like the cooking and chores I used to have to do, years ago. I still hate to do those things. So I can totally see why you're over it. __________________

I don't really hate it, though.
I don't love it. But I'm just sort of neutral about it. I'm over it, but it has to be done. __________________

Yeah, that makes sense.
Neutral is a good way to put that. I get that way, too. __________________

I know how that goes.
Yes, it made perfect sense to me. __________________

I spend a lot of my life in neutral, so to me it's just not any different, you know?

I always spend my life from one extreme to the other.
Occasionally on neutral ,but rarely. It's good that works for you-since you spend most of your life that way. __________________

That's basically what bipolar is, isn't it? One extreme or the other?
At least, that's what I thought it is. I don't know if being mostly neutral works for me. I just know it's where I'm most comfortable and where I am most often. I get the feeling that I should try to go out of my comfort zone more often. We all have our coping mechanisms, huh? __________________

Yeah, that is true.
I never thought of that. Yes we do. We all do what is workable for ourselves. I'd like to spend more time in neutral. __________________

And I'd like to feel more joy.

It is.
Good thing I'm basically a creature of comfort. __________________

I am too, so that makes sense for both of us.
