With the first movieI decided to ignore the hype and not go see it... But... I liked it when I watched it on HBO so I'll probably go to the theater to catch The Ring II. I can only hope it's as good!

Gah. I hated the first movie, I never could finish it because it scared the hell out of me. But I know my friends will drag me to this one anyway. I just hope the story line is a little different this time. No more of the girl coming out of the TV screen.

i cannot wait for this movie. i'm a big horror movie buff of sorts and i LOVED this movie. i thought it was gonna be a normal horror movie, but it was awesome. it actually scared me, i just hope the sequel is just as creepy.

All I remember is The Ring scared the crap out of me. Then at the end when the girl walks out of the TV I'm just sitting there going huh? I apparently missed something because I had no idea what was going on...I don't understand how she crawled out of the TV. It is supposed to not make sense?

I loved The Ring. It was an awesome movie; I just hope this one will be just as good.

The first one was a bore, very over hyped and rated. I'll see Two as a goof, looks on the funny side, plus EVC is a major cutie pie.

I cant figure out whether i like the japanese originals of horror movies or the remakes. Honestly, i saw both ju-on and the US the grudge and i actually liked the US version better.

I never did see Ringu though, so i guess im not qualified to say yet. But if its anything like the original grudge then i doubt ill like it much.

I cant wait for this flick!

I watched Ringu last month to see if it was better than The Ring but no...it was so boring I almost fell asslep

I like the first one but I do agree that its kinda boring... not much action. I can't wait to see The Ring 2 though because to me it actually looks like it might be better but I'll have to wait and see. Also, I love Emily VanCamp.

Yeah, it does look better, and i'm always up for the hopeful fright. I think that is why I didn't like The Ring was because i didn't see it until it came out on DVD, and i'd heard so much about it, that being the horror movie veteran that I am, i was prepared for a ton of jumpy moments but there was only one scene that did that (girl in closer).

The first one scared the crap out of me. I was never able to watch it on DVD for a 2nd time (I saw it on the theater the first time). But.. I'm so going to watch this sequel. I just have to, even though I'll get scared to death.
