Sure, the new james bond movie, casino royale, has some awesome action sequences. Especially, the one where he trashes that brand new austin martin. Check out these OG classics from past bond films:

The Best Bond Action Sequences Ever Article on Stuffmagazine.com

I especially like the one where he ditches the austin martin and goes on a crazy car chase in a Mustang Mach 1! You got to check it out!

I really loved Eva Green in this. Not the typical Bond girl.

Eva was amazing. I love the fact that she was so different from the other Bond girls.
In my opinion this is the best Bond movie ever. It was so much better than I expected.

True. It was one of the things i really loved about the new film. Probably it's the best in the series i've ever seen. It's a more credible James Bond and, though i wasn't sure about it, Daniel Craig does a good acting job in it.

I cant beleive Mads Mikkelson wasnt in the cast list!! He was the villain for gods sake.....lets give him at least some credit people. Neways, i was wishing that Eva should have been his girl in the movie......would have made it more interesting. At least, she was on his side the entire time rather than on Jame's side. That was the best part. Though i think they should have more scenes together. Also, he checks her out only once in the entire mov....that sucked. She would have made a better vamp rather than the heroine in the film. Oh well

This movie is still playing where I live and I had seen everything else currently out, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I loved it!!

Daniel Craig was teriffic!! I hated the casting of him as Bond but I have to eat my words now. He was perfect!!! And I loved Eva Green. She and Daniel had great chemistry.

I went to see the film just before the holidays and was so impressed with it and Daniel Craig. I completely expected to hate it because I've never really been into the Bond films before. I've always watched bits and pieces with my mom who loves them, especially Sean Connery, and I just never got into it. I figured I'd suffer through it for her and I wound up leaving a fan.

Daniel Craig was just incredible as Bond and such a refreshing change. I really liked Eva Green, Vesper is such a great character. The chemistry between Daniel Craig and Eva Green was great and I was completely caught up in their romance. I'm glad I can say it was totally worth seeing in the theater.

The whole point of this film is to show how Bond became the man he is and why he is just basically a "walking appetite with legs" as opposed to the more emotional and introspective person he was before he met Vesper.

Also, the fact Vesper betrayed him IS the reason he views women as "objects" and doesn't let anyone get close to him from this point on. It is good to see there is a real human reason for this and not just because he is a chauvinistic pig like the character has been portrayed for the last 40+ years.

This film is the closest to the books Ian Flemming wrote (this is in fact the first book in the series) and is great to see it addresses a lot of the things the other films didn't like the fact Bond doesn't even feel British and often alienated by the country he defends. Also, the scene after he kills the two assassins in the hotel and is washing the blood off of himself and he looks directly in the mirror is right out of the book. If they keep making the new films with actual references to the books I think these will be the most accurate portrayals of the character in 40 years.

You hit the nail I can only compare book and movie for CR because I never cared much about Bond before (movie or books) and I´d even go further and say Vespers betrayal is not as clear in the movie as it was in the book. Therefore they left several great loose ends to continue in the coming films. I mean tha´s the best you can have...leaving the audience longing for a new adventure!

ellie_dakota If you liked Vesper/Bond so much you might love the thread we have for them in the couples section of FF

Anyone know if there is going to be a video game for Casino Royale? It would be wonderful to play Daniel Craig as James Bond
