I just saw a behind the scenes video for the HBO Max reunion and they repeatedly rehearsed the Tom and Emma hugging sequence, among other things.
Just feels a little... Forced. Instead of scripting fan-service moments because they know fans ship the actors, why not just get the cast to sit together and speak about their characters? __________________

4 thoughts I had after watching the HBO Special:
1. The Tom and Emma segment felt like an excuse for her to squash the romance rumours for the millionth time 2. Where. Was. David. Thewlis???  3. Chris Columbus is a lovely man and he & Robbie Coltrane seemed overcome by emotion as well as gratitude 4. The eloquent way in which Ralph Fiennes paid tribute to the late Alan Rickman was beautiful  __________________

It sucked because nobody except Gary Oldman mentioned David, and that was very briefly.
Meaning that his character arc in the third movie wasn't discussed at all.  They just had Gary talk with Daniel Radcliffe about Sirius and Harry's bond.__________________
