I did watch TD and thought it was an okay movie. I knew the character would be back for FF7. He is the only other character besides Han that tied the stories together.

Haha. Oh Vin. He's so grateful and lovely. I'm happy for their success because they're truly a fan oriented franchise that still manages to produce quality movies. Some people go overboard with the fanservice and end up ruining the entire thing. But the Fast & Furious people have been really smart about finding that balance.

no matter how they arrange Fast 7 (restart or not), it wouldn't be the same without Paul. us fans will know that's not how the story was supposed to be.
