This is in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Do you guys think they will ever do a remake?

I just watched this being shown on TV last week. It's still one of my fav movies ever! I always loved the soundtrack that went with it.

I have a really random question. I didn't quite get Bender's line to Claire when she comes to him in the closet- "You said that your parents use you to get back at each other. Wouldn't I be great in that capacity?" What did he mean? That she should use him (by dating him) to get back at her parents? Thanks for the help!

Anyways, I adore this movie. I love how the characters are so easy to relate to, and they're all complex and layered

Basically, that's what I got from it, too. Bender knew that Claire's parents would flip if she dated the school delinquent; he told her as a way to give her an added incentive to make out with him, since he could tell she kinda liked him.

The characters really are great.

love this move, I always wanted a sequel with them at school the next day - but I doubt it could have worked/.

I bet Bender and Claire had a few, secret make-out sessions behind the staircase and that was it.

For some reason I highly doubt that they ended up having a real relationship.

The probability of a relationship are very low, but the probability for random make out sessions are through the roof. Gotta love high school.
