That part is so sad! It's hard for me to watch, but you're right...it gave a lot of insight into both of those characters, and the movie would have been missing something without it.

I really didn't like that part either. The first time I saw it i was thinking why are they showing this and whats the point? But now I really do understand it. Even thought I don't like how the whole scene was played out.

I love this movie. We had to do a discussion for sociology on this movie and we had to choose on character and I chose Alison.

This is one of the best movies. I loved it! Thanks to my sister who was a fan of Molly Ringwald movies, I got to see this one. Seriously one of the best movies ever

I love this movie!
 I'm so glad Nicolas Cage was too expensive because Judd Nelson was simply perfect for the part.  And pretty hot, I must add.  __________________
