well i do have something to post now........i went to an "art house" theater today.....saw a big poster for 'house of flying daggers' in the lobby.....but better than that i saw the trailer before the start of the movie that i went to see...it seemed to be an expanded version of the one that i've seen online......i kind of think that this film will be exposed to a wider audience (read mainstream theaters) given the popularity of 'hero' a couple of months ago......
to all a happy thanksgiving...... |

Hi
Thread #3. It's great to see everybody posting in this thread. I love those posters. It's funny that you're posting those posters because yesterday I was thinking that I want to have the portuguese poster of 2046. It's a beautiful poster and I was thinking of trying to buy it, although I'm not sure where I can get one. That "In the Mood for Love" poster is beautiful. I want to see "House of Flyoing Daggers". But I have no idea when it will be released here. It better be soon, I'm really curious. Funny thing, I still haven't seen the trailer for "2046". I love the "In the Mood for Love" trailer. Maybe this one is good aswell. __________________

to whom it may concern: i was wondering if and when wong kar wai's new film, 2046, is going to be released in the united states? any and all information would be greatly appreciated. sincerely, mukooh if i learn anything at all i will post it here.... |

I totally understand you're getting anxious, mukooh. I'd be too if I was in your situation.
But I wouldn't expect much of an answer. Those big corporations usually don't care much about the viewrs of the movies they distribute. __________________

i have a feeling 2046 won't be released anytime soon, given the oscar movie buzz this season plus House of Flying Daggers being shown next weekend... this is bad for me and mukooh!
i love the posters too, lets see how many versions we find of HoFD! __________________

and even better than that there's all sorts of photographs and poster type things to download.... |

mukooh ! thanks for that! i so did not understand what they were saying too! but i like it, i have a massive obsession with takeshi kaneshiro and since i dont read or write nor speak any chinese language, there's very limited information available to me.....
i so hope anyone who speaks mandarin i imagine it was - can translate for us. *hint hint* __________________
