He knows that he is being tricked, yet he is falling under Christine's spell anyway as she sings to him, because he adores her.

I was really impressed with how the movie captured the sexual tension between the two of them. They showed Raoul as the safe, romantic one and the Phantom as the dangerous yet artistic one. Two interesting and believable options for Christine as she develops in the movie

He is a great actor, for sure Little Children was a disturbing drama, but Patrick was great alongside Kate Winslet.

I think Raoul is a character in POTO who creates a lot of divisive opinions. Perhap he is the healthier option for Christine, but I always thought it should be a question of who she can be her true self with. The sequel, LOVE NEVER DIES, delves into that and re-explores the love triangle in that way.

I was mesmerized by this movie when I first saw it.

Gerard Butler reminded me of Antonio Banderas when he rode the boat with Emmy during the musical number 'Phantom of the Opera'

I love the danger and vulnerability of the Phantom's relationship with Christine; it's a very complex dynamic.

I've seen Phantom twice on Broadway, and once at our local theater... All amazing

I've also seen the 1925 silent version too along with Ramin/Sierra's version.

It's my favorite play

My favorite songs are Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night, Masquerade, Point of No Return, and Down Once More.

I know all the lyrics by heart.

I would have loved to have seen it on stage

I've seen the Australian stage version of 'Love Never Dies' (the POTO sequel) and it was very well done, and the actors Ben and Anna had strong chemistry as the characters.

My favorite scene in the 2004 movie was 'Point of No Return'. I love how Gerard played that scene - goes from Don Juan to suspicious of Raoul to totally in love with Christine.


The lyrics and their touches were so erotic!

I wish their version of Love Never Dies was on the DVD. I liked Ben and Anna in the Australian version but Ramin and Sierra share this magnetic chemistry together
