What´s everyone´s favorite song/songs? Mine are "Think Of Me", "Angel Of Music", "Phantom Of The Opera", "All I Ask Of You", "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again", "Wandering Child", "Point Of No Return", "Down Once More" and also "No One Would Listen" which they added to the movie but it never made it there.

They added Learn To Be Lonely to the credits and that's one of my favorites of this movie. I like the live versions better than movie...but movie version of Think of Me is pretty good.

I think you would. It, like any movie musical, isn't as good as its stage counterpart, but this movie was done very well. Joel Schumacher has a great eye for placement of props and position for the songs.

You really should, it´s great! But the ending feels much sadder than in the play :bawl:

I have the West End on CD and Aussie on Blu Ray and love both. Very sad but very well done. A lot of people got snotty protecting original POTO, but ALW did LND, so it's like...who can complain there?

I have listened to the West End version so many times on Spotify and really wish I could see it live, Ramin/Sierra are perfection. Gerard/Emmy would be great in a LND movie version. My favorite songs are "Till I Hear You Sing", "Heaven By The Sea", "Look With Your Heart", "Beneath A Moonless Sky", "The Beauty Underneath", "Love Never Dies" and "Ah Christine".

The Beauty Underneath and Till I Hear You Sing are my songs of choice to sing to in the car. The Coney Island Waltz I feel would make the best Olympic figure skating song. Listen to it again and think of someone ice skating to it. Majestic!

Ramin does that in all his songs. It's amazing. He's one of, if not the most talented guy on Bway/West End right now.

Arawen 03-10-2015 04:38 PM

Ramin is the best

Who do you people prefer (if you look at it that way)? Erik or Raoul? I prefer Erik but I like Raoul too some times.

I forgot people called him Erik for the musical. ALW purposely never named him (whereas he was Erik in the book). Raoul is a dbag. After seeing Love Never Dies, I hate that guy. My wife is in love with Hadley Fraser (from POTO 25th) so she loves Raoul
