I am so conflicted about "All I ask of you". I LOVE the song itself but at the same time I don´t ship Raoul/Christine
 OK maybe I do in just that song but I still feel so sorry for Erik  __________________

Andrew Lloyd Webber didn't adapt Phantom's name from the book, Erik. It's just Phantom. ALW also said Raoul is a douchebag so the whole play is about hating him (he does force himself to go on a date with Christine before POTO song). This is why everyone needs to see Love Never Dies. Raoul is a complete a hole there. They make him more lovable in the POTO movie (who can hate Patrick Wilson) but stage productions are all people should pay attention to!!

I think the first time I watch this was in theater arts class and I loved it. I love Emmy Rossum her singing is just amazing. Gerald Butler he is amazing actor too. He is very attractive also.

 To quote Raoul, she "sang like an angel"  I loved Gerard's husky, rock and roll singing voice. It just perfectly suited the Phantom (Andrew Lloyd Webber said they were aiming to cast an actor to bring out those sexy, seductive qualities which would contrast him to perfect-gentleman Raoul) __________________

I hate it when people compare singing voices (Michael Crawford to Gerard). Crawford is extremely talented but his voice was right for the stage and Gerry's made sense for the movie
