"This is not a love story" - promised the movie in the beginning and it kept it.

Really a great movie, I liked the filmtitle, so I borrowed it and it was really fun to watch, such a feel good vibe most of the time and the music was just great. Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt very really great. The movie was not like much too many RomComs these days, no, he was charming, liked the daycounter, it was something different, a great mix. Yeah, and not to forget: I bought the soundtrack right after finishing the movie - so I discovered the lovely Meaghan Smith.

I really agree with this. I loved the change of pace from more common "romance" movies.

This is pretty much my favorite movie, besides Titanic and Moulin Rouge. So of the last six or seven years it is. The music, acting, story, directing, everything - amazing.

that is why i was very happy with the way movie ended, when he met Autumn.

anyways, the movie was so great. it was more realistic than all of these romantic movies. it was just different.

I totally agree with this, Tom deserved a much better woman =) I just hope Autumn would treat him better.

I finally saw this movie today and love it so much. The last line in the movie was so hilarious, I watched the whole movie again immediately

i actually think they both deserved better. tom, someone who wouldn't take him for granted and summer, someone who wouldn't idealize her so much.

Agreed. imo both were at fault, it wasn't just Summer's fault. She made it clear from the moment they met that she wasn't looking for anything serious but Tom was blinded by his feelings and he idealized her. And Summer loved the attention, it flattered her.
