If I remember right one first needs to be part of the campaign for the forum (as in go to the campaign thread and ask to be added) and then vote. Otherwise their votes won't count.

The threadstarter is not there anymore so mostly older posters are on the list who we havent seen for years. Quite sure they arent voting. Yet we still get a good turnout, almost ending up in the top 5. So my guess would be that it does count.
