I agree that the original 3 were just based on the same characters and than Wolverine gets his own movies, which I'm ok with cause he's my favourite and he does have a lot of backstory that it makes sense but the newer Wolverine didn't need to be. That was just cause Wolverine is a fan favourite and its Hugh

Though the way FC and DOFP are, gives me hope that we can still get backstories on the others and the timeline to be built so here's hoping we get to see young Scott/Jean/Storm being students and making the move to teacher

I am still hopeful that we'll get some SL for the other X-Men characters and that after what happened in DOFP, it will somehow give them that opportunity.

As the case with Pyro, I don't think I'd like him if he was all psycho Pyro! They could always bring other mutants that are crazy in nature like that.

Same-Evo Pyro freaked me out. He truly was a cartoon villain and he's not in depth like the others. Sometimes, adaptations are better and it's so true in Pyro's case. Sebastien Shaw from FC is definitely crazy,even if Emma isn't.

Yes Sebastian was done very well. Crazy but menacing. Emma was blah to me. I felt she wasn't mean enough. I'd quite like her recast personally. (Maybe Ali Larter?)

This. It's not doing justice to such a phenomenal and deep character who isn't a black and white villain.



THAT is how Emma should be done and I think Ali Larter could pull it off,too.

Ooh I like that. I mention Ali because she has her look and she played a villian in heroes and was very good.

Emma had many layers to her, she was deep and very powerful. I'm sure she is a good actress..but emma wasn't done well enough for me personally.

Awesome, I think Ali Larter could do Emma Frost justice. That's a great idea.

Yeah, hands down they did good casting Kevin Bacon as Shaw. What can I say about that actor, he's just wonderful.

Admittedly, they made the X-Men movie versions OOC (Rogue for starters), but still maintained some of the personalities we all loved to read/watch when we were kids. So hit & miss for them.

They made some characters more likable,not just Pyro. Granted,I like Fassy's Magneto best, but movie Magneto seems to have more depth to him. He wasn't all doom and destruction and still had some bond with Charles. In the comics,I didn't like Kitty. She was wholesome as a teen and it irritated me. What Rogue and Wolverine had is what Kitty and Logan had when she was a teenager. Ellen Page...is awesome. Kitty was more interesting and I wouldn't have thought to pair Bobby with her. Then again,he is a Romeo.

They improved Pyro,Kitty,Cyclops and to some degree,Magneto.

Yeah Wolverine/Jubilee is kinda what reminds me of Wolverine/Rogue. They could bring Jubilee in and have her more independent, and have a different character

In the comics I didn't really like Wolverine but admittedly I like him more now because of how Hugh portrayed him. I can say the same thing with Beast. Rogue was my favorite because of his mutant power but she fell short in the movies but because I did love the movies, I was okay with how Anna portrayed her.
