Bautista is right, Marvel did mess up with Drax. For one thing, he's not an alien, he's from Earth and was transformed into who he is. For another, he has a daughter, Moondragon, who has yet to appear in the MCU. There's a lot to his character that could've been explored, but James Gunn's childish, overly simplistic narratives prevented that.
