If they have another referendum and vote to stay they can avoid going through with the Brexit. For a lot of people that's the only hope.

I never gave a damn about Carol and Rogue is one of my favorites, o it wouldn't bother me. But I don't think it's likely to happen.

I think it will happen. The theory I read ironically makes sense. To solve the problem of OP Captain Marvel, and cause major fear/hatred of Mutants. The answer is Rogue. Just think about it. Captain Marvel who's beloved, and probably will be the new leader of the Avengers gets easily defeated by just a touch from a girl. That speaks volumes.
