Daredevil. Fairly good show. Some pretty bad casting choices, though. Charlie Cox isn't as bad as I'd feared, but they've got Wilson Fisk (the Kingpin) all wrong. He's supposed to be big, fearsome, vigorous, threatening, not looking tired, defeated and depressed. The Michael Clarke Duncan version in the film was much better than this Vicent D'Onofrio version. And D'Onofrio isn't half big enough.

If they did him right you would be. He's supposed to be real fearsome, like Darth Vader.

He's also originally a long-time Spider-Man villain as well. It irks me how people have forgotten that.

They've forgotten that because the Kingpin is copyright-connected to Daredevil and thus appears in Daredevil shows and movies and can't appear in Spider Man ones.

Since when is Kingpin copyrighted to Daredevil? He was introduced in Spider-Man comics. He was more associated with Spider-Man than Daredevil back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. It wasn't until Frank Miller's run on Daredevil in the mid-80's that Fisk became entrenched in Daredevil's story. I think he may have also appeared in Daredevil stories in the 70's as a crossover character. He isn't the first villain to have multiple adversaries.

I'm actually getting caught up on season 1 of ''Gotham''. It's been a fun show. ''Twin Peaks'' & ''Ray Donovan'' I've also been catching up on this season. I need to start watching this season of ''The Strain''.

The Kingpin has been tied to the Daredevil franchise onscreen since at least as far back as the 2003 movie. Which had a much better Kingpin than Vincent D'Onofrio's lameass one. Isn't the first time I've seen Vincent woefully miscast. He was once cast as Robert E Howard. Something I'd rather forget. Though the awfulness of Netflix's Kingpin isn't all Vincent's fault. The writing for the character is crappy too, with a misguided attempt to "humanize" him.
