Did anyone catch Sara Gilbert on Will & Grace last night? I'm not sure if it was a rerun. I don't usually watch the show, but I was waiting for Scrubs to come on when I heard her voice.

I was watching the Roseanne reruns on Oxygen this morning, and they aired the episode where it's revealed that Jackie's boyfriend (Fisher) beat her up. I have to say, Laurie Metcalf (Jackie) gives a superb performance - telling Roseanne to leave it alone, then blaming herself, and finally just breaking down. And when Dan comes out and hears what happened; his silence, grabbing his jacket and leaving - then returning with a bloody hand after having 'visited' Fisher.

Y'know, Dan's always annoyed by Jackie, but he's so quick to defend her in this epi. I loved that. And, then when he's in the police car and D.J.'s principal drives up beside him [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] .

Another Mouth To Shut Up was on Nick @ Nite, and David was talking to Roseanne about how he would've proposed to Darlene, and he says "We would hop in the car and go down to the underpass where we first..." Well, uh, didn't David and Darlene first have sex in her bedroom?

Thanks for the summary...You know what? I never knew what happened in the final episode, due to the fact that I never got to watch it and it has never been repeated in Australia. Ahhhh...Did that really happen?! [img]smilies/cry.gif[/img] Why would Darlene and Mark get married? I thought they hated each other...and Becky is pregnant to David? Then, was Darlene's baby David's? Ahhh, this is too much!

Brek, it doesn't make sense to me either, but apparently, everything that happened was all part of Roseanne's book/imagination.

It just turned out that everything during the last season was false. The whole Becky/David and everyone else thing doesn't make sense because Roseanne didn't want it to. Someone else had written the last season's dialogue and she had written the series final and she figured this way she was taking back HER show.

If it helps any, I just forget about the last two minutes of the series final and just think that Roseanne and Dan are rich grandparents who have a gay mother/mother n law. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I cried my eyes out at the last few minutes of the Series Final..... Roseanne walking around that house so alone vs the "fantasy" of the house being filled with dyfuntion and lots of love.

I think I'll pretend that didn't happened as well. The Conners are rich,and Dan is alive and well,Darlene with David,Mark with Becky and all is right.

Okay, someone straighten this out for me - I missed like a chunk of the last season. So, the other day Nik @ Nite was airing the Christmas epi where Dan comes back from California (he'd moved his Mom to an institution there, I think - winning the lottery had motivated him to get his Mom better/thorough psychiatric care). Anyway, so at the end of the epi Dan's talking to someone on the phone; Jackie walks into the kitchen overhearing and thinking he's talking to his Mom, but she realizes she's wrong. So, what was that all about? Did Dan have an affair? Granted, the series finale would've had that be part of the 'dream', but what did happen?
