I am glad we finally know the reason why he has been a jerk.. so nothing with rape in jail, it was about his manhood. I really wished he would have just talked to Charlotte.. .she maybe a bit rough... but I think she would have been with him through this

Maybe after he realized he was wrong he feels guilty now about how badly he treated Char.

sure, I just commented about it in the shipping thread, how guilt is usually a weird barrier, you can easily forgive others, but forgiving yourself.... oh man, that's a whole other thing

He must feel guilty. He seemed like it when he was talking to the old man. He kept saying he was wrong. So he knows. I think when he apologized for being an ass, he was apologizing for the way he acted regarding this case with the old man. He needs to do a much better apology for the way he has treated her the past few months. They need to sit down and have a long chat.

Yes. I would like to see him give a really emotional apology and i would like to see her open up about her past.

I think that he should make the first step and show that he wants her back and make a sincere apology but so far Charlotte is the one taking all the steps. Asking him out for a drink and still being nice to him after the rotten things he said and did to her. This does bother me. I want him to crawl back to her not her to crawl back to him.
