This looks so cool! Thank goodness we have something to watch while DW is on mid-season break!
I just caught up with Children of Earth... Love Torchwood! miss it being a series long thing! Still missing Ianto, Owen and Tosh though  __________________

Space announced this week that Torchwood: Miracle Day will premiere in Canada on July 9th:
Bell Media Site - SPACE I'm nowhere near as big a fan of Torchwood as I am of Doctor Who, but at least it's something to fill the gap in S6  I'm very curious how this series will compare to previous series.__________________

I'm a couple of days late but I saw the first episode last night and I'm loving this new series so far.
Gwen was badass  , taking down a helicopter with a bazooka. She was funny, putting earmuffs on Anwen so that she could shoot at the people on the helicopter while still carrying her daughter. She was also heartbreaking, breaking down at her father's bedside about how alone she feels, having the sole responsibility of continuing Torchwood's work with Jack gone and the others all dead.Loved that Jack managed to keep an eye on her even when he was dealing with his own stuff although we don't know yet how much time has passed for him. Loved seeing Rhys and PC Andy being their formidable selfs. I also already like what I've seen from some of the new characters they brought in, especially Esther Drummond and Dr. Vera Juarez. You can feel the sleaziness oozing off of Bill Pullman's character. Looking forward to episode 2.  __________________

 I have to say I am REALLY enjoying this season. I was pretty anxious about the whole US thing, but it is a really great story and the new characters fit in so well __________________

I am going to have to get the BBC version, Straz , last summer a great version of this series with 5 of original cast . I enjoyed it but form i read, the show will not have another go around on starz .
Interesting story of Jack Harness add in as a old fan of HBO Six Feet Under I got to Lauren ambrose all grown up . In Six feet under early 20's . the series kept me wanting more . how many seasons of Torchwood are there and how many in the Us version where in the DR Who series __________________
