the storyline of season 4 wasn't all bad. what I didn't like was that they took it to america and that Jack kind of got replaced in a way...
 he wasn't the main character anymore  and that's why I've seen it once and now avoid it __________________

Also they hardly had any aliens in it. That’s not Torchwood at all.

The only main thing I didn't care for was the new team additions.
Other than that and yeah needed more Jack screen time, I liked s4. But I will always dislike that it ended with a cliffhanger. __________________

my guess is, they planned a fith season, but with not getting the success they expected with taking it to the us, they just didn't do it
