Why we are talking about the future character here is more about that they want them for the NEXT season but while we know more over on the spoiler thread we don't know much more. Again the important thing here is they are looking for this character to go on into S3 which is great news if the producers are already looking at future story ideas beyond the next 4 eps.

I love that the Parenthood kids are starting to get some love. They are all so good. And they all seem like they could continue to grow into their roles as time goes on (fingers crossed).

auntbee I clicked on that link and picked up a virus...running a scan to clear it now... I wonder if someone who doesn't like us viewed it and attached a virus to it.. nah...probably just a fluke.

ET: it was a fluke... my virus scan kicked it really easy.

I've got a pretty good (and new..since I just reinstalled after my HD crashed) antivirus thing in place, and it didn't complain at all at the EW link.

It is worth flagging it when you see it though, since there are a lot of jerks out there who infect everything, hoping to cause problems or make a penny off of it. (I wish internet pirates and spam artists could be prosecuted to the full extent of the law wherever they're found... but they're slippery and tricky and hard to catch..but it's so sad that they keep all of us real fans from just being able to freely share pics and interviews and links, etc.

FYI, more NBC rerun ratings are in for this week. For the Thursday shows, things were between 0.8 and 1.4 according to tvbythenumbers.com (can we link to that here?) The 0.8 was Perfect Couples, which is a gone-er as far as I can see. And Parenthood's 1.2 on Tuesday was equal with Parks and Recreation rerun rating, and higher than everything on Thursday except The Office.

So, given all that, and the secret press conference and casting of characters that pave the road to the 3rd season, I'm going to continue to feel pretty confident about the show's prospects.

Yes I agree while I'm sure renewal is more than likely given how little else NBC has going for it I'm not betting the house on it yet.

FYI i watched Perfect Couples and don't think it's any way near as good as Mad Love, which is CBS right?
