Parenthood will be on repeat, again, on March 15th (via NBC press release) :

Quote:

"PARENTHOOD"

"DAMAGE CONTROL"

03/15/2011 (10:00PM - 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : CROSBY DEALS WITH PARENTING ISSUES AS DREW FACES A DILEMMA OF HIS OWN; ADAM AND KRISTINA MEET ALEX, WHILE JOEL AND JULIA TEACH SYDNEY A LESSON – Crosby (Dax Shepard) has trouble teaching Jabbar (Tyree Brown) to clean his room. Meanwhile, Zeke (Craig T. Nelson) finds Drew (Miles Heizer) drinking beer with guys from school. Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina (Monica Potter) get to know Alex (guest star Michael B. Jordan) at dinner with Haddie (Sarah Ramos) and Max (Max Burkholder). Joel (Sam Jaeger) and Julia (Erika Christensen) explain death to Sydney (Savannah Paige Rae). Lauren Graham, Mae Whitman, Joy Bryant and Bonnie Bedelia also star.
And, I'm posting this, because it's always nice to see Parenthood on those lists :D :

Quote:

10. "Parenthood," NBC: Here's proof that you shouldn't give up on a show with potential, even if it squanders it at times. This is a surprisingly good season of "Parenthood" in that it's starting to hit on all cylinders and is taking advantage of reduced competition from other dramas. The hard part now is to get more people to watch it, with its enormous ensemble cast and myriad stories.

Thought as much, the 22nd should be a new ep and the final 4 eps of the season, hopefully not series, since didn't we have a season final for the 12th of April? Unless it takes a longer break to be in the May sweeps but it would have to be off for over a month for that to happen.

auntbee 02-26-2011 03:39 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if there were repeats beyond 3/15. I recall that GG used to have a lengthy period of repeats before airing the final 5 episodes during mid-April to mid-May. Purely conjecture on my part.

lancer1993 02-26-2011 03:46 PM

Maybe auntbee but I'm sure we got a season final date already, but that was before they changed their plans to move it to Mondays so maybe it has changed?

I just hope the break is not too long and doesn't affect the ratings. I can understand them (NBC) avoiding the sweeps and maybe testing another show but it's always tricky to know which way it could go unless we get an early pickup. I mean if we get S3 and then a new show does well at 10 on Tuesdays over May could that affect the pickup or where PH is placed in the schedule next season?

Thanks for the promo Vanessa and for the tidbit Valentine! So great to read all these awesome reviews. :)

I wanna cry.lol I just found out that there is a new TV Channel starting on March 8 here, called Prima Love (eww) and it´s supposed to have a programming targeted at women and Parenthood will be there, only it´s name will be "Familia" which in czech has a very perojative, not very good meaning. It´s like mocking and the promos for the show are very sitcomy, like really really bad. Good way how to kill a good show. Bad channel, bad name and bad promos. Achjo.
Only good think is that it seems that Lauren has Lorelai´s voice.

Also interesting in that promo they use the very first song played in the Gilmore Girls pilot as Lorelai walks into the diner!

Weird way to promote a show... hope people will learn its beauty.

Gosh, I hate this guy with a passion and now this? achjo. Just when we picked up some steam:/

Charlie Sheen can’t stop talking! ABC News will air an interview with Sheen in a 20/20 special this Tuesday, March 1 at 10pm ET. That bumps a previously scheduled original episode of Detroit 1-8-7. But what’s bad news for Detroit 1-8-7 fans is great news for ABC’s ratings.

Look for ABC to go from last to first at 10pm on Tuesday.

perrygraham 02-27-2011 06:58 AM

Yeah lol. I saw it earlier and thought wtf. Can't he continue to do his crazy radio interviews? Or just don't leave home.
