I was in Chicago over the long weekend and my flight coming home was very delayed because of weather, so I'm running on no sleep and hope that I can catch up this week!

I'm back.

Had a great trip to Australia. Did lots of walking around and sight seeing, and seeing friends. I was supposed to be leaving for Dublin today, but I had to cancel my trip. I need to save the money for now. Might go to Europe later in the summer, we'll see.

Sorry you had no sleep Claire, I am having the opposite problem. Ever since I've been back, I've slept at least 10 hours each night. I just can't seem to wake up. It's going to be a rude awakening on Thursday when I go back to work.

I'm glad you enjoyed Australia, Christine! It's a bummer about Dublin, but saving money makes sense. It's always hard to go back to work after a vacation, and I hope it's not too much of a struggle this time!

I'm sure I'll get used to waking up early again. It may take a few days. Luckily this week I only work Thursday and Friday. Even though I didn't go to Dublin, I still took a few of my vacation days to have a mini stay-cation.

Christine, I'm glad you had a good time in Australia, sorry you weren't able to go to Dublin. Stay-cations are good, too.

The past couple of weeks have been bad for me.. My brother passed away on Friday. He had a heart attack on the Saturday before and was in ICU on life support. There were several family members and friends who came in from out of town and state and once they all here by Friday they took him off and he passed shortly afterwards. He had just finished radiation treatment for lung cancer afew months before..

Hope you all had a decent weekend.

Friday night I went and say Avengers: Endgame for the 3rd time. I'd wanted to see it in the theater again, so I went by myself. Plus I was feeling a little sorry for myself seeing pictures of my friends having fun in Ireland, even though it was my decision not to go. I was missing out, but I moved past it.

Saturday & Sunday I worked 6 hours each day, even though they're usually my days off. Work just remains super busy, and I don't ever feel caught up. Hopefully I made a dent in projects today, but I have a feeling I'm going to be working extra for the next month or two. Ugh. Such is life I guess. Could be worse.

Now to chill out for a few hours before bed.
