I'm really happy Billy got nominated. That's very cool. Good for him.
I started talking to my sister in the kitchen today and she stops and yells "I'M ON MY LUNCH BREAK, OKAY!" Luckily she wasn't eating anything gross. __________________

He says *****ing in the lunch break line? They must dub it out for the commercials.
Wednesday's gross:$531,000 / Total: $37,403,000 BS is losing 315 theatres this weekend and will be playing in a smaller 2,225 theatres. The Golden Globe nod should give the movie a bit of a boost since they'll prob. be mentioning his nomination in commercials/newspaper ads.. etc. Atleast when the movie's out of theatres we can still use this thread to discuss the DVD release and stuff! Kitty, I actually was editing her, she did say it with the f-word, which is honestly what made it so funny.
Mike, I think we'll have plenty to talk about here when the DVD comes out. Especially since apparently Terry Zwigoff edited it a bunch for that R rating. [ 12-18-2003: Message edited A. B. Normal ] __________________

I forgot about things being cut out. Should be very very interesting!
Box Office Mojo predicts that BS will make around $4.7 million this weekend and predicts that it will be in seventh place. LOTR is pretty much going to overshadow any other movie but another $4.7 mil would be great for it's total and ofcourse push it over that $40 million mark. Wow, I knew they would do good, though I never expected they would make so much money! I'm glad so many are going to see this movie.

It'll most likely make $4 million so we should look for it to break the $40 million mark in the next few days.

How Lauren's other films did @ the Box Office:
Sweet November: $25,288,103 One True Thing: $23,245,840 It's safe to say that BS is her best showing on the big screen. Anyone remember the buzz we had over Dead and Breakfast at one point? I'm actually extremely glad that Lauren pulled out of that movie(if she was ever involved). __________________

How do you find out about the box office lists and how much a movie makes? That's pretty interesting.

I go to my favorite website: www.boxofficemojo.com -- You can look up pretty much any movie's box office run. It's really awesome!
I'm glad that Lauren can add a movie that made double it's budget to her resume. A movie breaking the $40 million mark is awesome. Could it possibly go for $50? __________________

LOL, doing some searching for the movie and came across this BS reference in a review for the movie Calendar Girls (the one where all the older ladies pose nude for a calendar). Quote:

Thanks Mike!
hehe, yeah, I'd think L-G.com would be your favorite site. It's mine! Proceeding to Bad Santa's jucuzzi! hehe __________________
