Agree with everything you said. The pairings were too convenient and lazy for my liking. For Isabel, the story would've been more interesting if the writers explored her attraction to Kivar and what she and Rath felt for each other.
As for Tess & Kyle, I never hopped on board the romantic train for them because it seemed too easy. Getting them to fall in love would've been a way to end MT without a problem. __________________
