The state of California is shut down, which means Cuddles isn't working;
She has trouble getting on FF at home.  I went out to do some banking & check on my dad. Now I'm home for the rest of the week, I hope. Staying away as much as I can. |

NY is practually on lock down as well. I am staying home. Working from home and doing my online classes.
It has been a crazy week. My 95 year old Grandma who lives with us fell and fractured her hip. Thank God we were home when it happened and we got her treatment right way. We were so lucky she was taken to the hospital near us right away and they are operating on her tomorrow. The Doctor that is doing her operation knows her from years ago when she fractured her pelvis three years ago. So that is a major blessing. At least it was a minor fracture to the hip and not a major break so that is a good thing. It is just hard because with the rules we can't visit or be with her. Please pray for her that the surgery goes well. It is so scary with everything going on. We talked to her on the phone tonight and she is in good spirits. She is a fighter that one I will just be glad when her surgery is over and she is ok. I can't wait till she is home with us again. It's so crazy with everything going on in the crisis that this happned. It was a very emotional draning day for me and my family. I will keep you all updated. Please send healing hands and keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  __________________

Oh! So sorry Ros Mod. It's a bad time to need to go to a hospital.
Hope your grandmother gets home very soon! Indiana will be on a Stay-At-Home order starting tomorrow. I only go out to check on my dad. We have enough supplies to last a very long timel |

Good news my 95 (soon to be 96 next week) year old Grandma hip surgery went well and she is resting and in recovery!
 She called us from the hospital because we can't visit with everything going on but she sounds great! It will be a few more days until we can get her home. It will be a long recovery with physical theropy and all but she is determinded to get better! I am so happy she is ok and safe! I can't wait to see her when she gets home! Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers!  It has been such a rollcoaster of emotions I am glad our family got the good news today! Please send those healing hands and keep her in your prayers as she recovers. __________________

However this morning she ran into complications. Please keep her in your prayers. It has been so hard not to visit her with everthing going on. My Mom is a wreck and it has been such an emotional time for my family. Please send healing hands and prayers. __________________

Hoping things continue to improve! I know you want to get her home as soon as possible! You are in our thoughts.
The day started cold and foggy, but has turned sunny and 60 degrees. I ordered a bunch of plants, and for once will be home in April to plant.  The one thing we can do: work around the house and yard. |

So my Grandma had a stroke lucky my mom was talking to her on the phone when it happened so the nurses were right there. She had to get a blood transfusion but the good news is she is doing ok. Hopefully she can come home to us tomorrow. That will be such a great thing to get her home with us.
She has been calling from the hospital every night because we can't visit her. She misses us because she is all alone and still in a lot of pain from her hip surgery. Lucky she can come home soon and rest up with us. We will have in home help and physical theropy for her. She has been through so much this week. I am amazed how well she is doing. I understand she has a long road a head of her she is 95 and will be 96 next Friday but at least her wits are still there and we will be there to care for her. It has been such an emotional week but I am glad my Grandma is still alive and well. With this crisis going on it will be nice to get her home. Thank you so much for the prayers. Keep on praying. Hope all is well and that you are all staying safe!  __________________
