They are probably using the word because the show existed before, and they are redoing it. And in some ways the description described the pilot of our version but in a very different universe. I rather see the gang in high school, dealing with what it all meant... or better yet, the continuing adventures of our gang and their children - the next generation.
Then two grown up's reconnecting over a secret she's discovered, and have the real world try to intercede... The orginal gang's adventures meant so much more... They made it because it was all so extreme, and special. Flaws and all! Just like what they are doing with Sabrina over at Netflix, which is a very different look at the family friendly ABC show. With the same characters. But this new one will be much darker... Just annoying... I guess we'll see where this all leads. __________________

I think it would bring too many memories of the original show, since it's not a direct correlation to our show. Although it would be nice to see them involved...
But given Shiri is still involved with Unreal. I don't see it. Time will tell what happens, but still praying it might not work out... Even though CW will have more timeslots next season with opening up Sunday's. But I think they would go with Charmed but then I can see them going with Roswell if they are interested in the immigration aspect... I have always said Roswell existed in the wrong time. It would be more popular today than it was in 1999-2002. But still, they should have gotten rights to the original show so we could see the continuing adventures centered on the new generation! With roles available to the original cast! One thing I can say this news the last few months as activated my muse with fanfiction. It's much more flowing today than it was over the prior six years! The writers block is gone. __________________

So I hear that Julie Plec has signed on as Director to the NEW show accoring to IMDB.
Roswell (TV Movie) - IMDb Good luck with that! That woman destroys story lines and does not respect cannon what so ever! Vampire Diaries is proof of that. No respect for the books that the show was based on. She just wrote her ships of the week. I swear she does this based on how hot the guys in the cast are. Mythology was not respect under her eyes. It was bad fan fiction come to light. I have seen her speak at a few Comic Cons when she was on for the Vampire Diaries and she was clueless to fan bases and story lines. She threw great story lines out the window and created her own with no connection to past seasons or to the premies of the show. All she did was fan girl over the hot guys on the show. She does not help shows she destroys them. They must of gotten her because Carina Adly MacKenzie wrote for the Originals which Julie was the writer and producer on. Oh now I hope this show really fails! It's now even more of a disaster in the making! David Nutter was a master of directing the Roswell pilot! It was stunning and the emotions he made you feel pure magic! To me Jason and Shiri will always be Max and Liz! They were stunning in how they acted and were pure magic on screen!  True Roswell fans know the Truth! Real True Roswell all the way! __________________

 Max in our Roswell full name was Maxwell but sometimes Micheal called him Maximilian! __________________
