Oh, they do! Reactions from fans flooded towards Brendan and Majandra's social media accounts when a) the B+T trailer arrived and b) the Roswell reboot was confirmed. They enthusiastically responded to these fans with as much interest and excitement as any fan of theirs normally would

They screwed up the DVD releases of ROSWELL, DAWSON'S CREEK and BEVERLY HILLS 90210 by changing most of the music

It's really annoying So many great songs were used for defining moments in the show.

I agree I have a very hard time watching the DVD's becasue of that. The original music was perfect!

So many 90's shows were given unsatisfying DVD sets

I would have rather they wait to get proper permissions to play the music than what they actually did (release the box sets with different music)

I mean, the song in that Heat Wave scene on the DVD is drastically different in tone whereas the Santana song had a sexual energy to it that was so fitting for MM

I feel the same about the songs being changed on the DVD sets. I get why it was changed, but… yeah, it doesn't seem right. Some scènes were just magical because of the right song chosen to accompany them. It was like a perfect blend of the moment between characters and the music.

When you remove that, it's just not the same feeling while watching the scene.

Agreed they replaced 'Run' by Collective Soul in the scene where Michael goes to Maria's in the rain, too. The replacement song isn't so bad, I suppose.

'Blackbird' is also gone from the scene after they've had sex in the Season 2 finale. This is more irritating, when you think that it's on the Official soundtrack but not on the DVD!

It really is annoying. Music adds to the moment and the Roswell crew chose those specific songs to amplify the romantic scenes.

On the flipside, as someone who watched the show without some of the original music - I can say that the magic wasn't lost from those pivotal scenes. BUT, now that I know what songs were supposed to play, it enrages me Cause they would be even better!

exactly. The scenes are great regardless, but knowing that the original songs were specifically chosen by the crew tells you the inspiration behind what was edited together. I remember seeing an isolated clip of the Heat Wave make-out with the original music (Santana's Put Your Lights On) and it gives the scene a stronger pacing and more sexiness than it otherwise had in the DVD copy.
