(Personal preference, I choose the original. It's storyline and characters are far superior. It's visual effects are absolute crap, but visual effects are not everything to me in movies and tv shows, I prefer quality over quantity. Eg The Star Wars Sextet: The Original Star Wars trilogy vs Its Prequel trilogy. LAtter 3 movies, all effects, no real outstanding character development, unlike the original three, they had development galore! But crappy effects by today's standards, but, it is still VERY watchable. .
The new one. Guy Pearce is very good actor. And Star Wars is a very unusual exception to the rule of new versus old. It's not just special/visual effects that makes old stuff usually inferior to newer stuff, it's the whole mentality and approach, which tends to be more artifical (in certain ways), theatrical, stiff and various other things.

Umm... you pick the next one.

So... there's my either or, I'll tell you the outcome of my dream later on.

Ann

You mean Spock or Potter? Spock then.

Enemy aliens or friendly aliens?

I can't have both? Oh well then, telepathic.

Time travel or alternate reality?

Either! They'd both be very-cool to experience.

Buffy movie or Buffy tv programme? A hard list of two to choose from, I-know! ....

The show. The movie sucked.

Somebody else pick the next one, I'm not good at that.

Oh , I'll do it myself.

Lexx the mini-series or Lexx the show?

They were both in incredibly bad taste, but they had artistic value, more so the mini-series, which was definitely better than the show that followed it.

*Nods in agreement* Although, season two of Lexx was quite good. But no where as good as its first season (the Miniseries.)
Season three was too mixed-up to really understand much of it...Dawn or Connor as your favourite 'poppet'? (from BtVS and Ats.)

BTVS/ATS vampires: Angel or Spike?

(Personally, Spike any day. JM has made him one of the best characters on either show, while Angel's just this depressing self-absorbed a$$hole moron dinosaurian excuse for a vampire.)

Better mutation: exceptional healing (Wolverine) or chameleon (Mystique)?

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

PC. Is that Personal Computer, Player Character or Politically Correct?

SF Baldies: Charles Xavier (aka Professor X) as portrayed by Patrick Stewart (X-Men) or Lex Luthor as played by Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville)?

Personal preference Lex. Patrick Stewart was great as Xavier, but Rosenbaum is pure incredible as Lex
