I guess when I re-watch the series, I just don't even remember why I loved them in the first place.  I think the writers made a mistake by ever making the Lex/Lana relationship and have Clark be pathetic after it. As a person who loves Clark, and considers Superman her FAVORITE ever superhero, it was difficult to see the writing for Clark. I feel the early part of season 5 was the end for them. When she and Lex got together, I feel that was the end. And even in the season finale when she revealed how he never trusted her and how could she have loved him. I feel the writers shouldn't have just let Clark/Lana moved on after all of that.  |

Yes, I totally agree.
 And yeah, we apologise about coming off so negative about Clana, they did have their good qualities early on. But yeah, they should have just moved on.__________________

^ Yup, and I think it's mostly because of our love for Clark.
It dragged his character and the writers should've spent more time building him towards Superman. |

Yes he did, and re-watching Season 5 make me a bit upset we didn't get to see that growth from Clark a bit earlier. It just seem to keep dragging on.

I love this scene in Fragile, the hug at the end is so adorable.
