I remember checking the board when I first started watching the show, and with the OPs you could tell Matt/Claire had a lot more going on, which made me go WAIT, WHAT? I was kinda expecting to ship them but my Karedevil heart spoke louder. Even though I really like MC, romantically i'm all about Karedevil.

Yeah I can't quite get my head around MC. I love Claire and I obviously love Matt, but it felt a little... rushed? I mean it was like 3 episodes in he was asking her to move in, if for complicated reasons. It wasn't that grounded, which I thought it would be based on the fuss on the internet, plus I can totally see why she'd want out of that relationship.
Matt and Karen, however. I do believe they're soulmates, as damaged as they are. It's very Wuthering Heights actually, whatever souls are made of, theirs are the same. __________________

Basically he knew she was in danger and told her to stay over, to which she replied something like, Nice way to ask me to move in. It was right before they kissed (or right after, I don't recall). I thought he was pretty much making it official. Cute, but sort of out of the blue imo.

Oh, that. I don't know, to me it felt more like his way of keeping her safe, nothing else. Claire's reply did sound like she sort of wanted him to ask her for real though? Like, motivated by something else other than just being protective. I think that's why she eventually left, she felt like she was getting involved, and she didn't want to go down that route.
I can't picture Karen making a choice like that - Claire can think straight, Karen goes all in with whatever her heart tells her to. __________________

Yes she feels everything really passionately, she's quite intensely emotional. I bet she's a Cancer she cares a lot. Which is true for Matt as well, actually. It's not necessarily a recipe for happiness but it sure is basis for a lot of love and passion.

I actually envy people who pour their hearts into everything. I can do it if it's something I'm truly passionate about, like acting, but at the same time there's always that rational voice at the back of my mind telling me to be wise, to be careful. I mean, sure you risk a lot more if you're always out with your heart but I have the feeling you also live a fuller life. It takes a lot of courage to be true to your feelings, and I think Karen does that a lot.

You act? That's wonderful! It must be so liberating.
I usually try to be very careful with my feelings but they do take over. Luckily for her, though, Karen is also very strong willed and I guess it can be a good combination, unless it ends up hurting someone in the process - my heart broke for her at Ben's funeral (it was quite interesting how both she and Matt were feeling his death was their fault). But yeah, she could never say she didn't live her life as fully as she could. It might be devastating and all consuming, but no regrets. A friend and I were actually talking of such things the other day in regards of what happened in Paris, since many victims were about our age. __________________

That's true, Matt was also feeling guilty about Ben's death. I was so pissed at the general fandom, and how they were basically blaming Karen for Ben's death. Of course, just blame the woman. Like Ben's wife said herself, Ben NEVER got into anything he didn't want to. Even when Karen tricked him into meeting Fisk's mom, he could've walked away the minute he realized what was happening. He wanted that story, and he was proud of Karen for not backing down. I'm sure she'll do justice to his memory, and with Matt right by her side to help.
