As far as cons, I know that Charisma used to do a lot of cons/signings during her first few Buffy years, then it's reported she had some serious issues with a few fans stalking her, and kind of shyed away from the con scene after that, which I think is understandable. I mean, it sucks for the fans and all, but I can understand her hesitance, as she's always been a more private person than some of her co-stars.

I really don't know why Aly doesn't do many cons. I know she too used to do a lot of them during the early years. In fact, she, ASH, and Nick were kind of like con mainstays during the first three seasons. I don't know what happened there, maybe she had a similar experience as Charisma. She's also done more movies during her offtime than Nick has, so time constraints could have something to do with it. I know she goes to the Posting Board Parties and everyone had really positive stuff to say about everyone who went, so I have no idea wat up wit dat.

I've heard from most people who attend a lot of cons that Amy Acker, Amber Benson, James Marsters, Andy Hallet, Mark Lutz, and Nick Brendon are some of the best Con guests, very accessable and nice. I know that at a recent English con, everyone loved Vincent, Alexis, and JAR as well.

As for Aly's wedding, I heard ASH, Nick, and Emma were in attendance. Not much info about it has surfaced though, so other cast members could have been there.

Well cause my Sunday is pretty boring, here is all the gossip from the last thread. Feel free to downsize it, or add things if you're so inclined.

Sarah Michelle Gellar:
- was the biggest bitca of them all until she fell for Freddie and suddenly morphed into a lovely person. Aly took over in the "diva" department.
- SMG and David B got it on a number of times. His former wife got a little upset about that. SMG and DB couldn't even TALK during "Forever" (which was why it looked like David phoned it from Brazil) and Marti was pretty irritated with them. She made them film it around 12,000 times because it wasn't "right".
- Joss and Sarah: though they respect each other, they had big fights during S6 because Sarah hated the B/S and the porn and the sh#t they put her character through
- was the catalyst for Charisma leaving to do Angel. There was apparently words exchanged about Charisma's recent photo shoots, and SMG saying that Charisma was using her body to try and become more famous. Basically, it boiled down to SMG being a shrew and feeling threatened by Charisma, so Joss wrote her onto Angel. Of course, I've also heard the complete opposite, that Charisma didn't want to stay on Buffy because she didn't like SMG, and then I've heard that Joss wanted her on Angel all along.
- Aly and her use to make up excuses so that they could be in the makeup trailer while David was getting Angel's tattoo on his back to perv on him
- wanted to quit after the WB, but she was publicly told off and reminded of her contract and how she could be sued. She had problems with Buffy not being a role model for the little girls any more. Her least favourite was all the sex stuff. She does't seem to have had a great relationship with Marti, she complained about Joss not being on the set. But she and Joss are both divas who experiened their fair share of clashes.
- is very protective and makes sure there is no swearing around Michelle

Alyson Hannigan:
- made a comment in an interview right after SMG made her big announcement about how it sucked for the rest of the cast and crew to find out from the press, and she thought SMG should have had more consideration for everyone
- was the big bitca on the set. Kind of looks that way too as she's the one who's always trashing other cast members on the show in interviews. I heard it started because she was jealous of Sarah being the star of the show, and all the publicity pictures she got to do. I heard she was nasty to the other cast members on American Pie and none of them can stand her either.
- Aly & Alexis; they met during season three, and were pretty flirty, but Alexis said he didn't want to date someone he worked with. Aly started dating someone, and Alexis got sort of jealous. So, after he went over to Angel and Aly broke up with whomever she was dating, they got together.
- isn't really nice to the one episode guest stars. That she pretends as if they're nobodys.
- hates Seth for leaving.
- hates Sarah for not helping her get her own spin off
- became jealous of Sarah as the show went on because she was always in the spotlight etc. And also said once early in the series (s2/3), in a not-so-nice way, that "they've turned the show into a Buffy and Angel show"
- from the sounds of it being liked is important to Aly. James said on his first day working with Sarah she told him she doesn't like to make friendships at work, and they should keep a profesional distance. Sarah can be a real bitch. But sometimes she is perceived as stand-offish because she is not as good with manipulating people as Aly is. Sarah has a more in your face bitchiness and she will start screaming and harrassing people on set for no reason. Aly is more likely to be clever about it, and she has worked on turning people against Sarah
- didn't get along with Julie Benz (Darla) in season 1. She was mean to Aly. Aly has said in an interview that Julie was horrible to her and made her cry. From what I heard the cast took Aly's side.
- has refused to attend cons that JB is guesting at, and JB is often signed up first because she's a cheaper guest.

Nick Brendan:
- ignores the rest of the cast (except possibly James and David B when he was around) because he doesn't much like them. Possibly because they're big fame whores? Discuss.
- made a comment at the David Boreanaz Event in Brighton this past August, that he would be going to the wedding and he'd already bought the gift (he called Aly, she told him what she wanted, and he bought it!) and that Sarah wasn't going to be there. He apparently made it sound like Sarah wasn't invited, and made a Snarky comment about how she would be too busy filming Scooby Doo 17.
- upset with his lack of an arc in season 7. He talked with his wife who said Xander was more important to the show than ever. He says that gave him perspective and he was thrilled with season 7 after that.
- Xander was originally going to be evil at the end of this season, rather than merely lose an eye. But Joss decided he wanted a happy ending so the scoobies must all survive.
- used to have screening parties where members of the cast would get together and watch the show, Juliet Landau and JM would often attend.

James Marsters:
- not really just that he wanted to date Sarah but she told him she didn't date anyone who worked with her.
- Michelle was very flirty/all over him during season seven. It was reported by at least two or three who visited the set, but I never heard anything like that again, so who knows. It would seem James got along very well with everyone, since he regularlly attended the Shakespeare readings at Joss' house, which was usually the entire case, minus Sarah.
- Freddie didn't like James and got really jealous of anytime he and SMG spent together. So he really didn't like when they had to do the love scenes in Season 6. I think James may have made another move on her around the time she and Freddie started dating but she chose Freddie.
- dated Mercedes Mc Nab during season 4 or 5, it's not really a gossip as he talked about it in interviews at this time. She was the one who let him down
- had a close family member raped and was around to pick up the pieces. Rumours are it was his sister. He cannot stand violence against women or kids and would refuse any part which inclues rape. He was horrified when he came in to work when the AR was filmed. It was a very last-minute decision by Marti so that the audience would know whose side they should be taking for Spuffy (Buffy, and by extension Marti herself). James refused to film it, when told he would get fired he said he would happily walk away from the job for good rather than film an AR. Mari threatened him with being sued for breach of contract, and he was forced into filming it. He is a method actor which means he gets into Spike's head and has to act like he actually is an AR and is feeling all that Spike is feeling in that scene. He totally freaked out, couldn't talk about it with Sarah, and said they lost their friendship for a long time because he was so traumitised by it all. He practically had a nervous breakdown, he would go home sit in the bath and cry repeating over and over "I am not a rapist". The scene was taken a lot further than intented because James was so freaked and he ended up freaking Sarah out which is why Buffy had such an extreme reaction of a regular human girl.
- is a heavy smoker who was repeatedly tried to quiit and always starts up again when he has a scene where he is nude in front of the crew.
- did have a crush on Sarah. It's said that in TR Sarah was shoked when James got really into the kiss and used his tongue. SMG told him you never use your tongue for screen kisses and in Smashed he had trouble with the scene until Sarah told him to forget method acting and think about breakfast. It's rumoured Sarah gave James a hard time when he became the more popular character and she was very jealous. She got a lot of nasty letters from Spike fans saying how much they hated Buffy. The writers may have had a talk with James. In season 7 James kept beating himself up over playing Spike too soulfully and having ruined what the writers intented.
- likes to date girls who are a lot younger than him, the girl playing Harmony was very much the type he goes for. He does have a son who he has tried to keep quiet to shelter him from the media. And he said at a con that he related to Spike as he was in a marriage where he found out his wife had no love for him. He also gets very worked up about telling women to stay away from bad boys who will hurt them, it's a running theme with him.
- said in interviews that being forced into filming the AR was the single worst day of his life.

Emma Caulfield:
- didn't get along with SMG very well. She made some VERY public comments about it in a Howard Stern interview, regarding Sarah's ego, a while back. People have speculated that that's why she decided to not return after season seven, regardless of if the show went on or not.
- her and Aly are friends, so maybe there's a root in it there somewhere for hating Sarah
- married at the age of 22 to a guy who was 15 years older than her. She said she knew the marriage wouldn't last when they were on their honeymoon. She said she stayed with the guy for 3 years though

Anthony Stewart-Head:
- at a con a while back (I think a year or so ago), he was signing a season one poster/pic for a girl, and the girl said that she thought SMG was so beautiful. ASH said that Sarah did look very lovely in season one, "before she became anorexic and turned into skin and bones".

David Boreanaz:
- is quite the man-whore, if gossip can be believed. I heard a blind item (that most people agree was about him) that Charisma was kicked off Angel because she and David were sleeping together all through last season. The producers figured it would be easiest to just boot her.
- the blind item was about David and Stephanie Romanov
- after the supposed "breakup", and they apparently had a very hard time shooting scenes together. Set gossip was that they had to do a LOT of takes, and that in the end, David phoned in some of his lines rather than come back and do the scenes with SMG again. But, they seemed to be fine in Chosen, and they've both moved on, so I'd say they've probably buried whatever hatchet there was.
- at the DB event in Brighton, England this summer, on the first day DB wouldn't let anyone shake hands with him unless they'd used an antiseptic wipe on their hands first, and on the second and third days people just weren't allowed to touch him.

Amber Benson:
- hated Aly. mostly because Aly was a huge bitca and said mean things involving the "f" word. This is why Amber didn't come back for CwDP
- is dating Adam Bush (Warren)
- Joss didn't want to hire Amber Bensen because she wasn't slim enough for the part. Marti Noxen talked him around. People have said they reckon wardrobe people deliberately try to make Amber look fat because off-set she is actually quite petite, and just a lovely curvy woman that wardrobe were not interested in making the best of because she wasn't skin and bones.
- gets along fine with Sarah. She has stressed Sarah is great to work with, as has James. They both stronly disagree with the diva rumours. Amber says Sarah is always recommending good books for her to read.
- exposed herself to Joss when she heard that Tara was going to be killed in the hope that her naked body would change his mind. It did not.

Misc. stuff:
- Joss was pissed off because Charisma was pregnant and it didn't fit with what he had planned last season. So to get back at Charisma he ended season four with Cordelia in a coma and fired her. Then he came up with some lame excuse about Cordelia's story being over and that's why they didn't bring her back. Charisma was also quoted as saying how surprised she was about not coming back.
- if the Joss/Sarah conflict and the Aly/Sarah conflict are related. Because Joss has made it pretty clear that Aly is one of, if not his very favorite. He talks about her quite often and how much he loves her. So maybe Sarah became resentful of not being Joss' golden girl, even though she was the title character.
- Joss got so angry that Sarah and David wouldn't stop playing around that he chased them around yelling at them through a megaphone
- Charisma may have been fired for her weight and the WB wanting younger actresses like Eve and Harmony. But there are rumours that all the crew hated Charisma for beign a diva and insisting no one looked at her. In season 2 her break was either for fertility treatments or drug problems. In season 4 Joss was pissed because she got pregant without informing anyone so the scripts were rushed to be changed.
- a stunt guy Jeff and Buffy's stunt double were fired for upsetting Sarah. Jeff confronted her about Sarah taking credit for stunt work her double Sophia had done. SMG had a bitch attack and orderd them both to be fired. Jeff then went on-line to tell the internet fans that SMG doesn't do conventions because she thinks the fans are all freaks. He wrote a story about an evil princess who ruins lifes, and said it was based on SMG on the set.J
- Joss had big problems with Seth Green leaving for movies. He has been quoted in interviews as accusing Seth of "bailing om our asses...and I was pissed". He said Seth only agreed to return for two episodes (NMR and Restless) so to get back at him Joss decided NMR would be all about Willow choosing Tara over Oz. Seth claimed him leaving Buffy was totally amicable. They have made up since as they did a commentry together.
- Marti Noxen may have spend time in a mental hospital in her teens. She says all the men she dated when she was in her 20s were metaphorical vampires who kept taking from her. She based B/S on a relationship she had when younger. She also based SR on a time she forced herself on her boyfriend when he had ended the relationship (apparently he was a real jerk). Marti has herself as the Buffy character in season 6 and 7, hence the frustration when some took Spike's side in season 6. Spike with Buffy was based on her ex boyfriend.
- Doyle from Ats was fired becuase he was a heroin addict who was unreliable and couldn't show up for work on time. He died of drug-related causes (overdose)
- the actress playing Jenny left Buffy because of the occult themes. She became a born again Christian. She was tricked into returning by Joss thinking hse would be playing the ghost of Jenny and providing closure for her fans. She was very unhappy at haivng to play the First Evil in Amends, and wouldn't have taken on the job if she had known.
- Charisma may have been more of a diva than Sarah. Like I said Joss indicated both Bts and Ats had problems with a star thinking they were more important than the rest. It's rumoured Charisma made things so difficult for the Angel crew that is why Joss finally decided to get rid of her. It wasn't the pregnancy, that was just the final straw. Joss has said there were problems but he cannot discuss them in an interview.
- David Fury gossip. He said he loved directing LMPTM because James and the actor playing Principl Wood were so professional and happy to be there. When he directed Gone certain actors were desperate to leave for hair apointments and such, only going about it half-assed with their eyes on the clock.
- Andrew's role was extended because he was such a nice, funny guy, and a lot of actors hated being on set and were just becoming unbearable at waiting to leave at the end of the day. The UPN atmosphere was not good towards the end.
- Cast salaries
SMG - $350,000
NB - $300,000
AH - $250,000
JM - Nothing official, but something like AH's
EC was something like $200,000
MT was actually at around $150,000
- David Boreanez gets something like $30,000 an episode for Angel, but I'm not sure it's been updated

It's hard for me to believe that Aly's a bitca, not that I've met her or anything. Just the way she looks, and the roles she portrays. Just wow, really. She's one of the last people i'd expect. Oh well, looks are deceiving, and if she's really so horrible in reality, than damn she is a GOOD actress.

Yup, me too. She is the more well-known of the two.
Also, I find it amusing how DB is paid only 30,000$ (if its true) and MT gets paid more than him, haha.
