Agreed! I have such a love/hate relationship with multi-chapter fics. On one hand, I love having longer fics to read. Nothing warms my shipper heart like long arcs of character development and extended plot progression. On the other hand, I hate having to wait for new chapters when it's a work in progress.

I second this, Kim! Not above begging either.

I'm sure that bribes are always welcomed and accepted.

Do I have to add fic to list of things I already nag you about? But really, I'm the same. I figure if I write anything halfway decent, I need to post it. Otherwise I'll never have the motivation to finish (plus the only time I am remotely creative is while under pressure ).

I can respect and/or relate to that. I will not tread the beaten path to pester you in this regard...too often. Maybe a slight nudge every now and then

It's a mystery, eh? My excuse is years of positive reinforcement from college research papers. Nearly 90% of my papers weren't started until the night it was due - usually around 11 PM or midnight . Any earlier than that, and the creative juices just weren't flowing. And I always got really positive feedback on them. My favorite was when I would get comments like "I can tell you really put time and effort into this paper." Whenever professors told me that this "wasn't a project you could finish the day before it was due," I took it as a personal challenge. On the rare occasion that I did finish a paper ahead of time, my scores were never as high in comparison. The brain is a strange thing.

Story summary: For Courtney, assistence has always meant more than fetching papers and coffee. But now she really is going the extra mile. Can she use subtlety to make clear to Alicia that Kalinda is more than just a friend, and doesn't deserve to be treated like an enemy?

I put up the new chapter of `Assistance`. It`s the finale, but an epilogue is coming

As it turns out or rather as I suspect orbythesea is insanely busy with life at the moment and I'm gad I never much cared for the law because boy, she's got a stressful life right about now. Anyway, I need someone to beta read the companion piece for Cracks in Concrete. It's about 6500ish words long and because I'm going on hoildays in two weeks time and I know it's going to take some time, I'm dropping my request here. Anyone care to help out a fellow TGW lover? I'd be eternally grateful! Eternally!

I would say you're a waaaay better writer than I am and I probably wouldn't have that much to criticize but I'd say I'd be glad to help you if you really are looking for someone .

A dramatic email arrived at 4am tasking me with defending the honour of Kalicia at the LJ Femslash Porn Battle. Our ship has been represented the last few years - there was tradition to uphold!
