What do you think of the new villain?
I liked the villain, and how it all came full circle in ep 7 too.

S4 is doing a great job at the horror stuff, thats for sure. The scene with Max in the upside with Vecna was the best moment of the season imo.

I hope they actually keep this is as the villain for season 5 but I am betting they are going to defeat him somehow because they will probably want to go all out for season 5.

The writers said that Finn guessed what their spin off idea is but that no one else has guessed it because its not what you would expect. That has me SUPER curious. The only spin off ideas I could think of were these:

-Hoppers story and life before all of this (seems kinda boring lol)
-Some SL in the actual upside down (which just seems kind of impossible to do)
-More backstory on 11 and the other kids. (Which we kinda already saw and honestly isnt that unique of an idea...)
-Flash to the future and we see the kids of eleven and mike or osmething dealing with the upside down either being re-opened or a differnt parallel universe? Really no idea what else they could do lol.

I still just cant beleive Riverdale went supernatural. I really cant. Because its so silly. If it started that way then sure, but it didnt... Just freaking weird.

Most shows sadly get worse. OTH did, Gossip Girl did, even 90210 reboot did (tho nowhere near as bad as the other two). Riverdale 100% got bad! GOT, but in the last like 4 episodes lmao.

There are a lo of other shows I think sadly just declined over the seasons.

Same here, that's why I'm hoping next season is the end.

Honestly, I never thought I would say the same but completely agree. It’s time. It feels like time.

Indeed. I think you’re right. They’ll defeat him in the last two episodes of the season. The only disturbing thing I keep reading? People finding Vecna hot. Like, what? Disturbing. LOL.

I’m going to finish S4 Vol 1 by tomorrow so will have way more to say.

I heard Sadie is phenomenal in that episode. Can’t wait to see it!

Those are great options! I’d watch all of the above. Agreed about Hopper but you know we’ll watch regardless.

Some people are scared that they are setting up Steve’s death… do you get that feeling? I hope not? Love him even if I do NOT want a Steve/Nancy romantic reunion!

Yes, yes, and more yes.

I found myself not even caring about fast forwarding the first seconds away while watching scenes after commercials on my DVR. Typically I am completely bothered if I miss a second of an episode of any series I watch. Now with both of Riverdale and The Flash I don’t care if it’s not perfect and I miss some dialogue. At this point it’s just about getting through each series to say that I watched from start to finish. What makes it so bad with Riverdale is I’m not even sure what world they are in. :blank: The very last scene with Jughead kind of indicated that this is an alternate reality. Letters flashed stating RIVERVALE which indicates not true Riverdale. I hope so because it makes certain things like lame romantic Betty and Archie not real then. LOL.

It does, especially when a lot of the cast looks ready to move on too.

See, I cant do that with shows anymore. I used to never want to just quit a show but I had to, and now there are a handful that I never finished because i just lost interest.

Bones, Castle, The Good Wife (tho I am finally finishing it now), The Flash, Outlander, Big Bang Theory, How to Get Away with Murder to name a few but there are a lot of others lol.

I didnt get that feeling. I think they love steve and they know the audience loves him too, so killing him would be so dumb unless it was the final episode of the series imo.

If they are gonna kill a character for real its going to be Jonathan because they clearly dont know what to do with him. I can also see them killing Mike or Will for the same reason. Someone "big" that the audience wouldnt miss. This whole season kept them on the backburner and that could be the reason. ive seen a lot of shows prepare their audiences that way. GA with George, Legacies with Rafael... they give characters less screen time so death is a bit easier to take. I would hope its not Will. We dont need an LGBT character killed off.

Can't really quit shows though, especially when I'm multiple seasons into it.

EXACTLY. Cisco hasn’t been on the screen, Joe won’t be on much at all next season, Iris is MIA and when she hasn’t been she’s off on her own or with Sue this season and who knows if we’re seeing Iris at all next season.

It’s time.

 You are smart. I really wish I would have done that with several past and even current shows, lol.

However, I did drop The Resident even though I liked it. I just hated seeing Emily leave and then the actress who played Mina. This was different however because I mainly started watching the show for Emily. As a rule, Hospital dramas aren’t really my thing. So it was easier to let go because I watched for a different reason and those actors left and I did as well.

Good to know Steve most likely seems safe. Exactly. Jonathan scares me. It’s possible because the two actors are together in real life he might want to just skip out on the final season. I’m not sure how much sense that makes necessarily because there’s not many episodes left to film and why take yourself out of spin off future possibilities? What concerns me is Millie made a comment about the brothers being scared to kill off main characters. I hope she’s not saying this because she knows something. Apparently the scene between Eleven and Mike when they kiss at the dance in the S2 finale she told the brothers she wanted them to kiss and they listened to her. I have a feeling they listen to what the actors want quite often so if she wants a main character killed off I hope they do not listen to her this time. LOL. 80s movies and shows typically you never witness bad endings, it is mostly adventurous with a happy ending like the Goonies, ET, for example. If they keep it with the 80s flavor we won’t be crying at the end. I guess it depends on who they kill off, if the do kill off a main. If they killed off Joyce or Hopper, just no. Will, yes they cannot go there. Based on an interview it appears as if his sexuality will be addressed in the final two episodes of this season. If they would kill off Will there would be backlash galore. I like the formula of killing off secondary characters/guest stars. But my guess is there will be one main character that makes a sacrifice.

The show really needs to add Sue to the show though.

100000000%. The (hopefully) last season next year will be saved if they add Sue as a main and/or regular. She breathes a life into the series no one else has been able to. If she disappears the writers will make a massive mistake. Ralph and Sue would both be regulars if not for the Ralph actor being a horrible person. Having said that, Sue is a strong character and so well liked and needs to be on the screen as much as possible before the series concludes. Especially if we aren't going to see Cisco, Joe, and Iris. Hell, I would take the adventures of Barry and Sue for the final season and love every minute of it.
