It went off again, but by the time you replied, I was off the bus and on my way back to Mom's apartment, so. I think when I use 10mb of data, it stops connecting me because it fears I'm using too much and then reconnects me about 15-30 minutes later, but that's just ridiculous.

Anyway, hmm. My friend Abby suggests forget trying to get Mom to agree to the compromise and just do it for now, says "After all, it would entail you staying where you are at for a little while at least, which seems to be what she wants. Then, if you find a job before November, great! You don't have to worry about the second half of the compromise because you'll have met her 'have a job' requirement. If you haven't found a job by then, you'll have a more legitimate/proven argument for moving out to NYC, and maybe she'll like the idea better then." (Emphasis mine.)

Oh and Dad gets back on Sunday night, so we'll get together for my birthday Monday.
