Everyone, including Jamie and Patricia on the old thread said Haley's speech was awful and it was rewriting history. I know what the speech is about and I agree with you. Haley didn't like Brooke at first. Like at all. She wanted to watch her getting hit by a bus . They didn't even interact that much in the first two seasons. It started in Season 3 and even then it wasn't that super super good friendship. I would say that Season 5 was the season that showed them as really close friends.

While I do think that it's normal for Brooke and Haley to become really close friends in the absence of Peyton I don't think this speech should have been this way. Actually it would have been far more interesting and true to the original story if Haley had admitted that at first they couldn't stand each other.

Nice Brooke/Victoria moments throughout the episode. Brooke's father is such a loser not showing up to his own daughter's wedding.

So I see Alex and Quinn are becoming closer... not sure how I feel about that since I dislike Quinn.

Skills is very funny in this one.

Jamie's speech was sweet. It's the only speech I will pretend existed in this one.

Now to Haley's speech...

That... speech was 1000000000000000000000000 times worse than I imagined. Wow, I don't even have words to explain how embarrassing, pathetic, infuriating that speech was so I'll just end with this:

-Haley's MOH speech was so interesting and informative. So when Haley was wanting Brooke to get hit by a bus, she was really secretly thinking Brooke was a really really good person. And when Haley told brooke to her face she wasn't invited to her party, she was dreaming nightly about being her BFF and going to all the popular parties together? I DID NOT KNOW THAT.

PS: I cannot believe Chase and Mia had sex or were on their way to having sex before being interrupted. It's just gross. I loved Mia in season 5 when she developed a friendship with Peyton and to a lesser extent, Haley. I still liked Mia in season 6 although I kept wondering if she had overstayed her welcome. But by season 7, I wanted her off my screen and now in season 8, I want to physically push her off the screen!

Chase is ridiculous too. I know how the Chase/Alex dynamic concludes so I am kind of glad for that because...

WTH was that? Seriously, that was the definition of an episode demonstrating how Mark has run out of material and has no idea what he's doing with the storylines anymore.

The only highlight was hearing Jana/Alex sing. Jana's voice is so beautiful.

Clay going into a college class that isn't his trying to outsmart a professor is one of the most ridiculous, unrealistic things I've ever seen. Wow.

The superhero crap was ridiculous.

The only thing I want to know is where I can get the song Jana performed because it was outstanding. I have to track it down!

A couple comments on Brooke and Julian back at it with constant sex along with Clay and Quinn rippage which is also something I can support:

Ewww!! Brooke and Julian please do me a favour and GTFO!! I cringe watching their scenes Clay and Quinn are so ridiculous and Quinn is such a hypocrite. Whatever happened to the vintage chick that wanted to live like a hobo and be a small time photographer. Yuck, just go away!!

Clay/Quinn – I am convinced this guy is only with her for sex. He spent half of tonight talking about her butt. Remember when she was gone and he was recovering? All his discussions with Nat were about his inability to 'switch hit'. I seriously do not see love between the two.

Clay and Quinn the same, all he knows about her is that she has great butt and Quinn, whats happened to your dream? (meaning being poor and everything because I for sure think you shouldn't want a diamont necklace).

Wow, Clay does obsess about her butt and it is so true how his biggest issue while recovering from a kidney transplant was that he wasn't getting any sex. Gross. And yes... when and how did Clay and Quinn fall in love? You can clearly see how Leyton and Naley fell in love but what about Clay and Quinn? I bet no one can answer this. Why? Because their relationship doesn't make any sense and it's a pathetic joke. If David would have attempted to give Quinn those things on Valentines Day Quinn would have yelled at him. Such horrible writing.

Brooke and Julian role playing is why I cannot say I ship them, I like them but not enough to ship them. This kind of stuff on the screen is forced, gross and they lack that emotional connection Peyton/Lucas and Haley/Nathan have.

Wow, Julian and Brooke make me sick. They remind me of two porn stars, seriously. They are disgusting. How many times did they have sex in this episode? Why do we have to view this s&it? How horrible.

The only remotely interesting storyline is Chuck actually and Chase helping with his family situation. It's interesting to see why Chuck acts out. Poor kid. His father sounds horrible and his mother's an alcoholic. Chase was great in this episode. While Julian's acting like a porn star at least Chase is helping a child who certainly needs the help, support and guidance.

Naley and Mouth and Millie were normal, too. I loved the surprise Nathan had for Haley and Millie and Mouth have the chemistry, they really do. Some people might think they are secondary characters, who cares, but I don't agree. When Millie's not a drug addict and Mouth's not emotionally cheating and other lame things and they're just normal Millie and Mouth, I like these two. Thank God for normal. Oh and Jamie and Madison are very cute.

When Julian and Brooke had the adoption talk it was spoiled for me because of the 3030303003 times they had sex this episode. All I kept thinking about is how the child they adopt will have porn stars for parents.

Brooke/Julian and Quinn/Clay in this episode make me wish a hurricane would arrive in NC and force them into the ocean.

Yes!!!! The muffin symbolized the deep love between Mouth/Millie... giving it for presents, sharing it. That to me was more romantic than gross Brooke and Julian role playing. Or Nathan buying Haley ho ho's was romantic and adorable. It sure beat Clay touching Quinn's butt!

They were the sweetest thing ever! I just want to know who was watching them?
