ETA: Holy moly it's getting good! Is Sophia a bad guy or a good guy? Or...girl I should say. I don't know! I'm pissed cuz I missed the first 15 min. of the episode!!! I'm gonna have to rewind my recording and watch it after it's over.

Damn commercials!!! Waiting rather impatiently for the conclusion!

ETA1: NOOOOO!!!! Don't tell Beckett that!!! Really? So now we have to wait even longer cuz that's the LAST thing Beckett needed to hear!!!

Damn that was a GREAT episode!!! And here lies the beginning of Castle's mission to investigate his father & probably be the focus of the next season or two.

I was kind of disappointed that Sophia was the mole, I really liked her. Not to mention I thought it would be too cliche and obvious, and I thought the writers were better than that.

Very intrigued by Castle's father, though.

Just started watching it and I've got one issue with the car sinking, first Becket said the frame must be bent, well anyone who wants Mythbuster will know it's the the pressure difference then stopped them from opening the doors. On top of that is how long it took for the car to sink and lastly the headlights flickered and went out, but the read lights were still working... off to watch the rest.

Oh, I don't think it was "obvious" at all, just a sinking suspicion. But you don't want to believe she's the bad guy specifically due to her past relationship w/ and trust gained by Castle. I thought they did a pretty decent job at writing the twists in tonight's ep and I commend them!

Craig, in Hollywood they can't very well follow entirely realistic scenarios. They have to create & maintain suspense and for me it worked for a TV show.

I liked this episode.

I think what Sophia said to Kate was needed because if Kate isn't already thinking about this, she should be.

Castle is her friend and most people don't go from friends to more without even a mental pro/con list.

We know the pros will outweigh the cons and they will be together and adorable and will still have that spark because dating is not going to change their personalities. He will be dorky and excitable and loyal, she will will roll her eyes at him but then smile and let her dorky side out too. They will fight, they will make up and they will solve murders. That is Caskett.

Plus, like Kate said Sophia told a lot of lies.

I really think the ending of the episode showed that they will get past this like all other things.

They bantered. They smiled. Her little side check. Caskett is good.

ETA I really liked that it turned out Sophia was some kind of left over soviet spy. That was a pretty neat twist. Castle father thing... I REALLY wanna see how that plays out.

And really the promo for next week looked cute (in terms of Caskett, not the murders).

Very good points about Caskett and I agree! Especially about Beckett making the "Sophia tells lies" statement. Yes, next week's epi will have more cute Caskett moments!
