Sorry for being MIA guys! Really disappointed in tonight's show. From what I saw of it anyways, I was flipping back and forth between that and The Bachelor wedding, but I did see the part where Ricky said he and Adrian didn't love each other, and the ending.

I can't stand Amy. What else is new. I'll post tomorrow the rest of my thoughts on tonight's episode's but I'm pretty sure we all probably felt the same.

BTW, was tonight the finale? If not, is the promo for next week's episode up yet?

Yep. Same old Amy. She improved a smidge, kissed Ricky (lowest Amy ever), and now she's back to her same old self (well, not "same old" because I actually liked Original Amy a.k.a. the Amy of the first half of season one, but it seems like she will never come back at this point).

And there are two episodes left. Next week and the finale, the latter of which airs on March 22.

u guys im very upset as i bet a lot of you are but idk i really dont see them getting back together and i really dont understand the show of lessons bc i mean no one stays single and come on they wont bring new characters on and idk ricky and amy wont be together i thought they were going to make them grow together, yet they didnt i jsut dont understand

But I still can't rule out them getting back together. I know it seems really bad now, but Ricky still misses her and she still misses him. The love is there, no matter how much pain covers it, and as long as the love exists, I can keep the hope.

i kno but like i mean i dont understand wat the writers are doing because they like went out of their way to make it clear they wearing saying i love you but before it was so hard to say the then they like have strong scenes and like babysitting and friends with amy and i just dont understand liek they through around hints he loved her but now he says he needs to change and i just dont get it

I think it has to do with the fact they they do want/intend to make Radrian Endgame.

On a storyline level, if you set out to make a couple Endgame, they can't be together the entire series. Not unless you plan to make the series only one season anyway. And with Radrian, they've been together since episode one. But they've had their drama: Grace kept them apart for a while and now it's Amy. Plus, many fans want Ramy, and in order to keep viewership (and their jobs on the show) the network has to throw Ramy bones to keep that part of the audience interested and coming back for more.

So in order to fulfill what I've outlined above, they had to create a storyline for the script: the Ramy kiss and Bendrian sex. And while everything they've ever done points to Radrian, the storyline gives them a way to break Radrian up in order to reunite them later (and simultaneously give hope to the part of the fanbase who keeps coming back in the hopes of getting Ramy).

Radrian's storyline has all the classic signs of an Endgame couple. (So does Benamy's, which progresses in almost exactly the same manner, but with different aspects to the characters/relationship, if that makes sense.) IMO, there are usually three camps Endgame couples fall into:
1) They meet, instantly are attracted to each other, and then everything gets in their way (with only moments here and there of romance and usually a triangle or more) until they finally get their happily ever after endgame moment. (i.e. Lucas/Peyton on One Tree Hill and Ephram/Amy on Everwood)
2) A couple who hit it off right away and are happy together and becomes so popular that everyone loves them, but to create drama, they are broken up, but they're too epic among the viewership to be apart forever, so they get back together and are usually stable, but have storylines now and then to "shake things up" even though everyone knows the drama won't last. (i.e. Piper/Leo from Charmed and Nathan/Haley from One Tree Hill)
3) A core character ends up with someone who was introduced very late into the series (usually after a lot of heartbreak and/or triangle[s]) who is her/his "perfect match" in order to give said beloved character a "fairytale" ending. (i.e. Phoebe/Coop from Charmed and very possibly, Brooke/Julian from One Tree Hill)

Ricky/Adrian and Ben/Amy I've always felt are in the first camp. They remind me so much of Lucas/Peyton in many ways: despite being with other people, they go back to each other (Leyton and Radrian have this in common) and despite their deepest connections with anyone else, they can't let go of the the person they really want, it comes out even in the most unconscious of acts (both Radrian and Benamy have this in common with Leyton).

But anyway, that's just my take on it.

Viewing your take on it, I have some hope, Camille. I'm starting to lose all hope. ABC Family just keeps on promoting Ramy. I see it ALL over the website.

They make polls on how Radrian is done, but then there's so many Ramy polls. They were NEVER a couple!

I refuse to acknowledge the stuff they put up at ABC Family. I only go there for spoiler pictures and sometimes sneak peeks, if I can't find them on YT first. I think it's all put up for the sole purpose of keeping the SL fans who want Ramy interested, since they aren't getting the non-couple on screen. It's all part of marketing.

ETA: Not to mention that the polls aren't even accurate, because every time you reload your browser, you can vote again.

I am beyond done with her character. There is nothing rootable or tolerable about her. I cannnot stand her at all!

First, Ben and Adrian don't owe her anything. At all. Ricky, that's another different story, but Amy, they owe her nothing. They don't need to apologize, they did nothing wrong towards her. I'm so tired of her acting so wronged and she can't "forgive" them

Second, Ricky asked to see HIS son, yes Amy might forget that, but John is his son too, on the weekends. Not to take him to another country and she'll never see him again. She's lucky Ricky doesn't take her to court and get full custody. She needs to get over herself. And honestly I never see the love she has for John. Her "emotion" does nothing for me. Or in her case the lack there of. I see it from Ricky, but not from her.

Third, she sits her and calls Adrian a **** and all this B.S., and how she's so "hurt" and all this crap, but I have yet to see her feel bad about what she INTENTIONALLY did to Adrian, after Adrian tried to befriend her. She hasn't apologized or admitted her guilt or what she did was wrong, or that it shouldn't have happened. Or ANYTHING. Yet she can go off about Adrian and Ben who did nothing to her, b/c neither owe her anything at all. She intentionally kissed Ricky, and didn't give a rats ass, knowing he was in a relationship with Adrian. Adrian slept with Ben, but he wasn't even dating Amy anymore. I don't care if it hurt her or whatever, they were not together. She needs to get over herself.

As far as all the Radrian stuff, I'm sure ya'll can imagine I'm as upset as all of you guys. I'm really disappointed in their scenes and what's going one, although Camille you did give me hope with your post, except personally I hate Leyton LOL. But still.

And I'm glad that wasn't the finale, I was extra pissed at the end b/c I thought it was. Does anyone have the promo for next week's episode? Or any spoilers?
