I just really thought of that throughout the episode (since I was spoiled about the ILY). It truly was something I didn't mind waiting for.

lol For once, I didn't read spoilers. Usually I'm a total Spoiler Junkie, but I haven't read them much at all since I haven't been around

and so the ILY was a total surprise. (Well, surprise in the sense that I didn't know when it was coming, but I have been expecting it to come out eventually between them since early on in the first season. I've had unwavering hope for these two. And I figured it had to be getting close with Ricky's talk of commitment and Cindy saying that they cheat on each other because they are afraid of getting hurt - exactly what I've been saying all along.) But even though I knew in my heart that it was coming, it was still more amazing than I could've imagined! And as your title says, so completely well worth the wait!! lol

Well I don't read spoilers for future eps, just always goes to the Ricky/Adrian thread as if to check if I should be warned if something terrible happens, you know?

I didn't read the spoilers either, but I agree, it was clear Ricky was going to profess his love to her face sooner or later. I'm just glad Adrian was awake when he said it. When I was watching the scene I was like "please hear him, please hear him..."

That scene certainly surprised us all I imagine. When Ricky got up I expected him to leave his own apartment and then when he said ILU I didn't expect Adrian to actually hear him.
