Thanks for starting this! Like I mentioned to you in PM, I was convinced that we at least had a thread for Craig & Carter but I can't find it so I must have imagined it!
Kourtney Kang's episodes are my favourites, I think. __________________

I'm glad we have one now! Kourtney Kang is great. And it surprised me how much Craig and Carter write for the show. I think that's so cool that they are so hands on with it.

Thanks Daph!
And yeah unless IMDB is wrong, they co write most of the episodes which must be hard work, but it's awesomely cool. When I start watching the series over again with the mother I'll pay attention to the writing credits more. I do really love the writing so much. The ongoing thing with the goat and all of that planning is really impressive. It's not only funny but it means they HAVE to incorporate it into Ted's 31st birthday and live up to the hype. That's talent to commit to that. |

Thanks!
I just found myself wanting to talk about the writing and the plot and stuff after the new episodes in addition to celebrating the characters and couples in their threads. So hopefully this picks up after the next new episode and we'll see how it goes! |

We used to have a directors thread when I was mod on the Scrubs board - here that would probably just be a Pam Fryman appreciation thread, pretty much!

I know! I can't believe she's directed almost all of the episodes. That'd be so much fun I'd love to get my start doing her job!

Greg Malins has written some of my favourite episodes too. Greg & Kourtney are my favourites! And Craig and Carter, of course. But what I do like about this show is that there are very rarely duff episodes, and there's no writer who you go "Oh, THEY wrote it. It won't be as funny..." like I've done with some shows in the past.

That's how I feel, many writers and the episodes are still sooo good
There's always some that I don't like in other TV shows but I've got nothing bad to say about this |

To tell you the truth I haven't followed who writes what on a show since Buffy, but the writing is just so good that I need to start paying more attention.
What has Greg Malins written? |

I didn't use to pay attention at writers but I've had some bad experiences in the past so now I look for who writes good episodes and who doesn't

Greg Malins wrote Swarley, Something Borrowed, I Heart NJ and The Three Days Rule.
He also wrote some really great episodes of Friends (The One with Monica and Chandler's Wedding: Part 1, The One with the Holiday Armadillo, The One Where Ross Got High) __________________
