Speaking of weird ideas, how do you think Brooke reacted to Kelso's invention ideas or desire to be an astronaut (the latter he might've given up since he was at the police academy).

I think Brooke could find a way to not discourage him, but bring him out of his crazy ideas.

That's one way of looking at it. I can see Brooke being supportive of Kelso, but also letting him know when he is being stupid.

Do you think Kelso would ever act out because he gets fed up with the (rightful) limits Brooke tries to set? And if he did act out, would he realize Brooke was right all along?

I guess it depends on what Kelso is there. If it's the one that started to grow up and mature with her, I can see him trying to understand what her point is.

And considering he had more fun at "the boring library" with her on Christmas than showing off at his old high school dance, I think he might grow to appreciate her groundedness and absorb at least some of it.

So when that change reaches its apex, Kelso's friends won't even recognize him -- until he displays some typical Kelso-like behavior.

If they'd matured enough.

Eric (and Fez and Kelso) wasn't happy when Hyde matured in "The Good Son," but a lot of that had to do with Eric being jealous of his parents' reactions to Hyde in comparison to their reactions to him.
