I was thinking about them a lot lately. They really could have worked.

They should have worked. :pout: But with the actress leaving the show, the writers didn't know how to continue that relationship. They could've had Kelso join Brooke in Chicago by the end of season 7 to continue their relationship.

I actually think that could have worked. They should have ended it at season 7.

Yeah, and then Eric and Donna could've gone off to Madison together instead of Eric leaving her. And Kelso and Brooke would've been together, raising Betsy.
