Why do we call them "The Bachelor and the Butterfly"?

Well, Daniel is someone who seems to be looking for a woman who understands him and loves him for who he is, but in the meantime, let's say that he is having a little too much of...err...women on his life. Hence, the bachelor title. And, then we have Betty, a sweet and nice (but with a temper) Queens girl that came to his life, one of the days dressed as a butterfy (it was her Halloween costume, LOL) and we thought that it truly represented what she is. So there you go! The B&B.

Because he was the only one to ask her if she was okay when she crashed into the door.
Because it was a pleasure for her to be working for him.

Because getting rid of her hadn't even crossed his mind.

this is totally random, but related... today I was rewatching my season one dvd and I was watching the episode where Betty brings Daniel back to her place to sleep...and then it occurred to me that Daniel was fully clothed before but is wearing only boxers in her bed, which assuming he was too drunk to unclothe himself... Betty did it for him taking off his shirt, tie, not to mention his pants hahaha and for some reason even though I've seen that episode 1 million times only now did the dirty thoughts cross my mind hahahaha I don't know why I never noticed this before...

Hahaha, I love your line of thinking! The same thought did cross my mind before though, when I went through my rewatch of season 1 recently. It's funny that there was never any mention of it in the episode itself, because it's kinda a big thing! Considering how freaked out Daniel got about Betty's "in your arms" line, it's surprising he didn't freak out over the fact that he was just in his boxers

Unless - and this is the non-fun option - Ignacio was the one to undress him, in which case, they wouldn't really need to address the awkwardness of the issue between Daniel and Betty. But still, some mention of who did it would've been nice!

I loved that episode

Daniel slept on Mermaid sheets and helped decorate Christmas ornements. He was too cute.

Betty's line was great, and I totally love your idea of a throwback to that line when they're actually together! That would be the sweetest thing ever, I think I'd just die from squeeing at the adorable-ness. Ok, in the meantime, we need a fic with that situation to tide us over

I wanted to raise the issue of the 20th, actually, so I'm glad you mentioned it. Are people still up for doing something special, or do you think since there's been a lack of activity lately, we should maybe just forget the idea? I don't know...

I WOULD love a throw back to that line AS WELL as a Throw back to the line he said in In and Out the whole "You're better then any Model Betty Much Better" it would be GREAT used once they are an actual couple
Sadia I'd love some kind of party for our 20th however because I'm on the west coast and I work during the day I'd feel like I'd get left out somehow
TOTALLY Random but I Just watched "Mamma Mia" (best movie EVER by the way) and now i'm listening to the soundtrack AGAIN so be looking forward to a new Mamma Mia soundtrack Detty video PERHAPS to "Lay your Love on me"
