You know, funnily enough, thinking about the real life equivalent of Amnesia (the band, not the illness) was the way I managed to get through my end-of-high-school hell month of 12 three-hour exams.

I've read that book its actually quite good but somtimes It can be boring I haven't seen the movie though.

The Virgin Suicides is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. His writing is just so incredibly amazing. The plot takes a back seat to the completely gorgeous, iridescent prose. To paraphrase American Beauty, sometimes the beauty just gets too much to bear. I was so glad to hear Jeffery Eugenides won a Pulitzer, although in my opinion he should have won it for TVS and not Middlesex.

Caty - of course I had to mention the gay best friend thing! I definitely live vicariously through Faye when it comes to GBFs.
