I'm interested in seeing what the new normal will be for them...but I hope it's not a lot of Mary...we still need our boy time.

I'm curious to know how much Mary knows, like she does she know everything that has happened with her boys or do they have to sit her down and fill her in?

I was curious about that too. I don't know what I'd prefer. It's probably easier if she knows everything already.

Yeah, it would. Part of me prefers if she already knows everything but another part of me really wants to see the boys having to fill her in.

I'm torn that way too. I think them filling her in could be a beautiful heartbreaking moment, like sure some would happen off screen but the big part, you know? Like I keep thinking back to when young Mary was telling Dean about how she wanted her kids to live a normal life, and that hunting was the last thing she wanted for them. So if she doesn't know what's been going on, and to have that realization hit her, that because of a deal she made...her kids ended up with the life she never wanted for them...it could be epic.

Exactly, it could be a beautiful emotional moment and I feel like seeing her reaction could help us as viewers connect with her.

I think it would too. Because for somebody like me...I'm pretty indifferent to her, and I'm going into the new season expecting to have her ***** up or do something to make me pissed off, so if they had a scene like that, to make me like accept her...then that could change the whole season, but right now I'm far to protective of the boys to have her sweep in and own the place, her being their mother or not. you know? It's going to be very interesting to see how she approaches being with them.

I have to agree. Not sure what real role she will play in their lives or if she will stay around. But a side of me likes this thought too

I feel the exact same way. It's like I know she's their mom but at the end of the day they are my priority not her and I love the boys too much and am way to protective to let her hurt them. I hope she doesn't end up taking over and acting as if she's always been there and as if she knows them because as mean as it might sound she wasn't there and she doesn't know them.
