Did you go to a party or have any good food during it?

It was a snow day today and I’m glad I didn’t have to go anywhere.... but I’m hoping my car won’t be frozen shut tomorrow trying to get to work. Cause it’s gonna be freezing over night.

Ugh that just sounds so cold! I hate it when it is so cold and snowy that you then have to deal with handling your car afterwards.

I usually go to a party, but I didn't tonight. Instead, I am just watching at home.

Brrr! It’s so cold out I got all the things I needed now to just stay in and sit right next to my gas fireplace all evening

I really feel happy and effieicient lately! That’s a good thing!

Yeah I watch a lot of sports but I'm not a huge Super Bowl fan. The last one I sort of watched is the one when Lady Gaga performed. And also because I still don't understand the mechanics of American football. Like Leanne, I'd go to a Super Bowl party for the food though.

At least no humidity unlike here. Blech. It's horrible.

I don't like humidity either. In the summer, it makes it hard to breathe, In the winter, it makes the cold go right to your bones. My favourite way to spend a stormy evening!

Mom's residence is having a Chinese food lunch today, so I'll go up and have lunch with her.

I had some chinese food for dinner last night.



Today is going good, I have the place to myself and work and am doing alot of weeding old books! I did alot in one hour! I love when there are no classes in my space, its so peacefule and quiet, like the old days.

It has been a quiet week.

Yeah, it has been quiet. Maybe cause people are too to type lately!

Its cold here now, expecting high arctic winds and possibly snow and power outages tonight!!

Ugh, I can't wait to leave work in 5 minutes cause these kids are in here for a reading club quiz thing and they are so loud, its suddenly getting to me. I need to quickly! Before I go Sensory overload in the sound department!!

We celebrated Chinese New Year here last Monday night and the extent of that for us over here is Chinese food but there were fireworks as well. As always I'm happy to eat sticky rice cake/Nian Gao at this time of the year which is my favorite.

It's getting warm here now but our nights are still cold. I have plans for summer vaca already but I still need to pick the dates. Not going to the beach now but the mountains so something new for me this time around.

Chris, in my country up north. I've never been there because it's remote, far and always raining. It's about an hour by plane from the city. Also it's colder up there too so better than the humidity I'm getting now.

Dave, why was there fireworks last summer? 4th of July you mean?

It's good to explore more of your own country. I've seen a fair bit of Canada, but I still need to get out to Newfoundland.

Dave - I don't have Chinese food often, so it's a nice treat when I do get it.
